Sturdy
These are very nice. I use them all the time. They don't last forever, but we'll worth the price. I get about a year from them before they begin to lose their strenghth.

BEST ON THE MARKET BUYERS DON'T BE SCARED!!
I did a lot of research and this one is super solid. Very well made. The trick is to get the wires where you want them first and then attach the plate holder. I can see how people could FORCE the position when you have them connected to the holder. Be patient. It's not the product it's the user in this case because it's very well made and smart. I use it to play video games (hand fatigue gone!), have it hold my phone on a table, and when i want to walk around--i will warn though that when you wear it around your neck it is hard with the phone camera lens being so tight to find a flattering angle!! hahaha--but that's just cameras and such and has nothing to do with this item. It's a solid 5 stars!!

Something I never knew I needed
Like others have probably said, this device is something that I never knew I needed. To summarize:Pros:Easy to manipulateHolds my oneplus 8 fineWorks well and as intended with both ends of the cable inserted into phone holderCons:Thick cases, rings, pop out grips will not work. Gotta go commando.Gooseneck cable will not support your device with only one end of the cable insertedShort cable lengthNeck foam too short, causes pressure on collarboneThe ends of the cable can be troublesome at first to slide inAt length:Figuring out how to use and manipulate it was easy enough. As long as both ends are in the phone holder, it's sturdy and is able to hold my oneplus 8 just fine. I was able to lay in bed and watch a couple of videos hands-free so the concept of this works just as I envisioned it when I originally bought it.Good idea adding the charging hole upgrade. Didn't purchase the original, but that was smart.A couple of things did stick out in a less than desirable way.If your phone has a thick case, or one of those rings or pop-out grippy things on the back, the holding clamps will not secure your phone. Judging by the depth of the clamps, I'd say this is designed primarily for thinner cases or naked phones. For everyone with one of those ruggedized cases with a screen protector built into them, I feel for yall, this wouldn't make for the best experience unless you're okay with taking off your case every time you want to use the product. The gooseneck... cable(?) isn't strong enough to hold up my device with just one end inserted. The clamping holder's design would mean that the center of gravity is off to the side of the cable thus causing it to bend. I tried rounding one end under my mattress and supporting the phone with the other, but it didn't work. Looping (U) the cable under the bed and supporting the phone with both ends works, but the phone isn't very high up from my mattress. Probably fine if you're propping yourself up on an elbow looking down, but I'd like to be on my back and looking up and slightly off to the side. To that end, I'd like to see a longer cable and maybe a very slight increase in rigidity. While watching some videos with the cable looped around my neck and pushed up from my mid-torso, I noticed a fair amount of pressure on my collarbone. Probably just a 'me' issue since I'm so lanky, but what would alleviate this (aside from adjusting the cable, obviously) would be a longer strip of neck foam. Not by much, it stops halfway around my neck which I think is intended, but I'd say about 30% more length would eliminate this issue. The phone holder itself can be an issue when attaching it to the ends of the cable. I'd suggest rounding those off. Did you ever play with beakers in science class? That would about do it. The sharp-edged (they won't cut you, I'm just saying the angle is a sharp near right angle) cylinders mandate a fair amount of precision to get them to slide in, but they slide in easily enough after that. If there are magnets in the tips, that's also a smart idea, keep that. Conclusion:I've only utilized this for about 20 minutes. We'll see how things go but ultimately I think I would like a longer cable so I'll probably end up returning this, or seeing if my parents would like this and selling it to them.4 stars: The product accomplishes what it sets out to do. A few minor issues get in the way but don't compromise the product in a way I think other people would take issue with. For me though, they prevent this from being a keeper.I may update this in the future.

Coolest thing I’ve come across
One day, my youngest son had this that he was holding with his phone around his neck and I asked him where he got it and he told me his dad had gotten him at one year. So I was like that is super cool and said I had to get one for my older son. So well-made with neck cushion so it doesn’t hurt your neck. It is a little heavy, so not for somebody who is super small and doesn’t have much strength. But you can also use it as a stand in many directions. You can also use it to wear it Can hold your phone while you’re laying down so you don’t have a crooked neck. This is the coolest thing I’ve came across the whole time. I think anyone would love to have this and use it. I definitely recommend.

Doesn’t fit my iPhone 7 in a case.
I had the other version of this holder from this brand for a long time, and it was great. I tried to fit an iPhone 7 in a case in that one and broke it. I bought this one to replace, and while it is long enough to fit the phone, the little arms that hold the phone on the top and bottom are not long enough to fit the phone with the case on. Seems like a slight design flaw-who’s going to uncase their device to put it in a holder??

Looks like quality but is nothing besides fancy looking junk !
I like nothing about this model it came litteraly broken with the magnet outside of its place plus the extremely broken and cheaply made phone/tablet holder piece ! Do not buy this , it will cause headaches and waste your money so buyers beware please ! Plus the $7.00 return fee they charge you to pick it up from your house seriously!!!??

Good for older phones
I’ve tried three different types of holders that’s similar to this. One that holds the phone by clamping the sides, one that holds by clamping the phone vertically (this product), and one that holds it magnetically.Side holderMy biggest complaint about this is it’s difficult to type while the phone is in the holder since the holder will obstruct your fingers. This is especially true when trying to hit keys that are on the side such as Q and P. If holding the phone sideways to watch YouTube, the holder will obstruct scrolling through the video. The only pro I can think of is that holds the phone well.Vertical holderLet me start by saying that I have an older phone that has a physical home button and the screen doesn’t extend all the way to the top and bottom of the screen. And because it doesn’t extend all the way, this holder is perfect for it because it won’t get in the way while using the touch screen at all since there’s no screen there. But it does get in the way of hitting the home button. Another plus is it holds the phone nice and tight.Magnetic holdersSince the holder is entirely behind the phone, it won’t get in the way of using the phone at all. Another pro is how easy it is to set and remove it from the holder. A con is how easy it is to set and remove it from the holder. A small touch can make the phone tilt and if you’re not careful, it’ll fall right off.Of the three, I prefer the vertical holder (this product) but it may not be for people who have screens that extend all the way to the top and bottom of their phones.
