Impressive for the size and price
After a recent man cave renovation I had installed 6 8" In celling speakers which were lacking low end. I purchased 2 of these OSD Dual 8" Subwoofers to provide a more full sound. After installing both speakers 4 8" Subwoofers in combination with my previously installed 6 8" full range in celling speakers I am in no way disappointed. My man cave now doubles as a night club with some seriously thumping bass!

Great subwoofer
I purchased this subwoofer, along with the 5 "Acoustic Audio by Goldwood CS-IC83 8” 3-Way In Ceiling Home Theater Speaker for my new built sun-room. The result was very satisfying. This subwoofer required an external power to work with your receiver, and I paired it with the "Fosi Audio TP-02 TDA7498E Subwoofer Amplifier Mini Sub Bass Digital Class D" sold here on Amazon.

Well balanced decent speakers.
Crisp clear treble with enough bass to balance sound. Using as outdoor speakers under covered pool patio and projects good sound over a large area.

No es un par de altavoces!
La descripción del artículo indica claramente un par de altavoces, al llegar la entrega solo es un producto. En México un par significa que son 2 piezas del producto. Devolución inmediata.

The best value in a subwoofer I could find. Really glad I went with the IWS8 for my project.
I bought several Rocket UFW-10 subwoofers back in 2005. They were really good, tight bass, not muddy at all. Well, the amps all went bad on the enclosures and I didn't have the heart to trash them. I thought about replacing the amps at first and looked for the right plate amplifier to replace the dead ones on the 3 UFW-10s but I couldn't justify the spend. I decided to leave them unpowered and started using them as my main front left/right woofers and as the sub for my PC. The UFW-10 connected to my PC goes through a soundbar and is powered by a 2 channel 100 watt amp. The bass just wasn't banging with the one channel so I stated looking at adding a second subwoofer to the setup instead of buying a new more powerful amp, cost/benefit and the cost was too high for a better amp. When I checked out the specs for the OSD IWS8 and the price I decided to give them a whirl. The IWS8 mounted perfectly in the UFW-10 and now it slams with the cheapo 100 watt amp on my PC. For just $100 more I decided to do the same hack to my front left/right speakers. I added some passive crossovers to the mains. I can't really vouch for mounting these in a wall. They may be missing a little on the low end but I can say that they compliment my old USW-10 speakers perfectly and at an unbeatable price point. I would recommend mounting them with some foam rubber around the lip as pictured.
