Look nice, no fading
Fits well on my deck railing, I left one drain plug in on each side to help retain water. They’re holding up well in the sun, no cracking or fading.

It's Amazing!
The media could not be loaded. This was the same price as a similar railing planter I bought from Phelan Gardens for about the same price. However this one is bigger, and it came with the drainage holes pre-drilled and plugged with easily removable pegs! I usually have to struggle a bit to get the drainage holes out on thicker pots, but I had this ready to go and full of dirt in no time. It's already packed full of pepper plants and withstanding a windy and drizzly day without problem. This planter also prevents my plants from falling off the railing. I've had several plants fall off my 2nd floor railing and it's such a drag, but this grips nicely and even shields my smaller planters from wind. The height of these planters is also nice because it obscures the parking lot view a bit and gives my very public balcony some privacy. I highly recommend this planter if you have railings that are 4 inches thick or less!

Love!
I ordered these because they were priced under $13 each. I had never seen any deck planters, so inexpensively priced. I was very scared that they were going to be cheaply made, brittle and a big disappointment. When my first order at three came in, I was shocked! They are incredibly sturdy and much thicker material than I had anticipated. You could only order three at a time at that time, so I just kept ordering three every chance I got, I even had my mother order some for me because I wanted to cover my whole deck. Not only are these really pretty. They are going to save a lot of back trouble. In recent years I have gotten to where I can no longer bend or do hard-core gardening like I always did. These will be the perfect height for me. I am going to put mosquito repelling herbs in many of them so my deck will have a protection shield. I highly recommend these planters!

Fits rail perfectly.
This is gray plastic, so not beautiful, but it fits my rail perfectly and sits very sturdy. As my plants grow the planter won’t be the star attraction! It’s also easy to move when necessary.

These are amazing!
I am SO PLEASED with these! (yes, bought a few) They work awesome on deck rails and will hold many plants. They come with drain plugs so if you don't wan't them all open, its your option. Heavy duty and built to last for many years. *Note, I have never left them out over the winter, so I cannot comment on whether they would or would not be freeze safe.

Sturdy
Theses rail planters are sturdy and perfect fit for my railing. I would still recommend screws for additional stability. The colors I purchased were perfect. Good quality molded plastic. I like the pre drilled drainage holes. Although well made, I think they were a bit pricey.

Perfect for growing radishes on my deck
I bought these pots to grow radishes on by back porch. We have 2X6 railing, and these fit perfectly! They are large enough that I will be able to grow several radishes in them. These would also be nice for flower displays on a porch! I will update in the coming months on how my radishes do in them!

Now have 14 planters
I mostly use these to grow strawberries as they fit perfectly snugonmy 6" railings (although they can be easily lifted off). Great success. Also started using them to grow lettuces, radishes, carrots and beets.I drilled 7 drainage holes down middle and enlarged the stock drainage holes. The biggest problem was that they initially cost $20 each and the final purchase was$12.Also have 7 sitting on top of raised garden bed whose soil is poor.Relatively gogher prooas well.f
