Nice little unit
I like how portable this is. It's easy to use. My concerns are the unit gets hot and the casing does come off pretty easily. The cables seem sturdy but I don't seem to be getting the transfer speeds I should from an ssd over USB C. My laptop is pretty new and is more then capable of handing the speeds over the USB C connection. Maybe I just haven't set something up correctly but the unit did work well when I migrated my older ssd from this to my new one in my laptop.

Works exactly as described.
Nice little device to enable me to reuse my m.2 drive that I had upgraded. Have found the cap is maybe a little bit too easy to remove, not a major issue but I would have preferred it to be a tighter/more secure fit. Nice touch to include both a normal USB and usb-c cable.

Worked in the way described
When I used this as a "caddy" for a Solid Disk Drive, I was copying the data from that SDD to my new computer. Sometimes it got very hot - it is easy to simply remove the cover and allow it to stay cooler.

Fried 2 of my drives / DO NOT BUY
This product has killed 2 of my drives, one of which a 1tb ssd. Never even appeared in disk utility on macOS or disk manager on windows, now I have a £70 drive broken thanks to this crappy product.

Had my doubts but works flawlessly
Bought this and then started reading up on M.2 and the heat they generate. Really thought this cheap enclosure would be an epic fail. But its been great. Two hours of photoshop and then Battlefield 5, barely warm. Speeds are okay. Obviously no where near as quick as plugging the M.2 into the motherboard but still fast.

Easy to set up and use storage enclosure
Easy to set up and use but don't think it is sturdy enough for long term frequent use.The plastic clips that secure the module look like they will be the first thing that will be damaged.
