Unisex Merino Wool Cuff Beanie Winter Hat for Men and Women

Unless sitting in a snowy deer blind, I have no use for a thick wool cap and find this weight of material much more desirable. Thin, soft, merino hats are very hard to find and this one is half the price of the comparable Arc'teryx. The fabric (it is 100% wool) seems just as nice as the more expensive ones I have, but this one is not really a beanie.It is 10.5 inches from top to bottom. Wearing it positioned just above your brows and over the top half of your ears will give you some resemblance to a trappeur. To make it fit tight up top, it needs to be cuffed at least 3 inches.Maybe that makes it more versatile---more warmth for your forehead and ears when cuffed and when you get too warm, you go Gallic---I just prefer a true beanie cut. Nevertheless, it is nice and there are colors I do not have, so I will probably pick up a couple more.One more thing I just realized---as I'm wearing it---the circumference is more generous than an Arc'teryx. My hat size is 7 1/4 and wearing glasses makes that brand feel tight across the ears pretty rapidly. The cut of the Meriwool is more comfortable.

I live slightly south and west of San Antonio. So far this beanie has worked just like Merino wool is supposed to.It's really light, and when you take it off, it is really small. It gets dirty pretty fast is about the only complaint I think someone might have. This color grey shows everything.However, I only care that it does that hot/cold thing that Merino wool is famous for and it does that really well. If you are a runner, or cyclist I think this would be excellent for those colder days where you need something for the start.

I bought these for my boys and me for a stocking stuffer for Christmas. I had no idea how comfortable, soft and warm these would be. They are thin and stretch well and they keep your head warmer than much thicker stocking hats that I have. I just bought another one to go with a different coat that I wear when it really gets cold. I highly recommend this cap

This hat is perfect for my use case, which is thin enough to fold into my pocket when not using. It's warm enough for hiking or something active. Maybe not for very cold weather. For my big head, I find it more comfortable to unfold the cuff. It stays in place better and has room to wear sunglasses while keeping my ears warm. It doesn't shrink in the wash.

This cap is very soft and stretchy, so its very comfortable to wear. Its fairly thin and light, but surprisingly warm. It's kept my head warm in the mid 20's. If it goes down into the teens, I'll wear a skull cap layer underneath. The only reason I took off a star is because I consider it too tall to be a beanie. It's more like a stocking cap without the hassle/ball at the top. If you wanted, you could fit a ginormous man-bun underneath it. I have to fold it over A LOT to have it fit like a beanie.

Bought for workouts, but looks nice enough for casual attire.Compacts well to put in your pocket.Taller than skull cap. You have to fold up in order to pull it down tight.Quality product. I would recommend.

Folds up small , warm . I don’t need another one . But it’s so nice I might buy 1 more

My husband asked me to get him some new 'beanie' style stocking caps because he lost the ones he had. Didn't think he would need them after moving from the mountains to the coast! Said he was wrong and really needs some for his crabbing and fishing trips on the bay. He asked for some cheap ones, but I got him this instead. He loves it! Warm, soft, comfortable, and fits under his regular hat and the hood of his parka.

Love this hat, 100% merino wool, soft and really comfy to wear. Highly recommend. I’ve had Bernie’s and hats in the past that all make it too warm and itchy. Not this one.

Like another reviewer, I received a 65%/35% cotton/polyester blend hat. Total Dollar Store product.I've contacted the seller, hopefully it's an honest mix up and I'll quickly receive the correct hat. If so, I'll revise the review accordingly. Until then, buyer beware.

Comfortable beanie, great quality! I have them in multiple colours. Love this product and definitely recommend it. (Delivery a bit slow, price is on the higher side vs competition. So, 4 stars seems fair.)

Wrapped head to toe in Meriwool. I even have a couple of the Gaitors on the way.Only complaint is that you can't get any of it, it's all sold out. Is it possible other people like Meriwool too?
