Dunhill Driven Eau de Parfum

Like a few people before me have already commented on it, the first thing that I thought when I opened the box and saw the bottle was that it reminded me a bottle for ink! This is something quite fascinating to start with, as I never had any such thoughts about any other fragrances I've bought for me in the past! The smoke grey bottle is very elegant and has a nice black stopper to keep things in place!Now, we're not here to judge the bottle though! What did I think of the perfume? First of all, this is the eau de parfum, which means that it has a higher concentration of fragrance to start with compared to eau de toilette. Therefore, one has to be careful how (and how much) to apply it!The fragrance itself is what I'd call a light, citrus fragrance with a woody hint! Now, this might not mean anything to some of you...allow me to elaborate though. The light, citrus base of the fragrance allows for it to be worn throughout the day, even to one's office or business meeting. The heavier, woody notes make an excellent going out fragrance. So, one could argue that this is a perfect combination of both; but it is all in the application as well, but I am not going to go there!When testing it, I put some on the pulse points, namely my wrists and a little bit on the neck, as I wanted to smell how different this perfume smelled compared to my normal one. The smell was pleasant and not overpowering and it lasted for a good 5-6 hours, when most likely I stopped discerning the scent!Overall, I found this perfume to be a nice alternative to some other competing perfumes. Is it ground-breaking? No, it is not. Is it competitive, cost-wise? Well, it is directly comparable to other established perfumes. So, what would make someone buy this one over others? Perhaps, the feature that it can be worn any time of day/night offering a dash of elegance!

Pros:- Nice scent. Woody with citrus high notes- The scent lasts well. Used prior to work and my partner was still able to smell this following my 8 hour dayCons:- Currently priced at £64.00 at the time of the review, I am therefore not sure that the company has got their pricing straey correct as this brings it in line with market leaders.The lid is quite big which adds to the size of the aftershave bottle. The pros of this are that it is easy to take the lid off if your hands are wet/slippery from afterbalm. The cons are it takes up more space in your wash bag when travelling

This is a gorgeous scent that I love the smell of. It has a nice woody aroma and I can detect the citrus notes, but not so much the floral ones. It does linger very well on clothing or skin. It lasts longer because it is an Eau de Parfum and you don't need as much.The bottle is a squat round, robust bottle with a firm fitting round notched lid. The fitting is good enough that you can pick this up by the lid without fear of the lid coming off and the bottle falling.The bottle is a classic looking one and the scent is also a classic one, no overpowering or too floral for the men, and I know there are women who love to also wear men's scent and this one would also be great for them. I do like this it has just the right balance for casual wear, could be easily used every day and to be honest, is just a great all-rounder.It would make an excellent gift and it is one I would definitely recommend.

Dunhill Driven Eau de Parfum is a new fragrance for men, launched in 2021. The fragrance has woody citrus and floral notes beautifully blended together. Amber, Jasmine and Musk are special in the composition.Top notes: Lime, Plum, Bergamot & Red AppleMiddle notes: Cardamom, Cinnamon, Jasmine & RoseBase notes: Amber, Vanilla, Musk, Cedar & AmyrisIf I try to define the scent, it is more woody and spicy in the beginning, then the floral notes start to come up.But ....Very light scent.It does not last long.The fragrance stays for a few hours only and then it starts to fade away. The scent has only stayed on my skin for a few hours at most. Upon smelling the clothes after 12 hours, the scent was very lightly noticeable. It's not good enough for an EDP (Eau de Parfum).Masculine scent for over 30's.The fragrance is quite masculine, similar to fragrances of the 80's to 90's. So, it is good for men over 30 in my opinion, not for the younger generation.The bottle is okay with a massive cap.Expensive scent for £64.00.

'Dunhill DRIVEN is a fragrance for the man who is a warrior at heart – he believes that life is for the taking and is not afraid to take risks...' or so says the manufacturer.Well describing a fragrance is very hard - not only it is it totally subjective it also depends on the interaction with your particular skin.I wouldn't say there is anything particularly 'warrior like' to this perfume, in fact I found it quite traditional, neither totally masculine nor feminine. It is woody rather than floral, but there is a surprising sweetness to it with some vanilla notes. It is quite a concentrated scent, so it should last a long time. Not to my particular taste, but it's a well packaged, quality product.

This is not a head turner or a statement maker, just a solid classy apple unisex fragrance that leans masculine. Good for work, school, church, semi formal stuff. Fall and Spring would be the best seasons for it imo. I actually love this scent! My only criticism is the cap, and I wish it lasted longer than 6 hours. Buying it on sale or under retail is a no brainer, solid casual use fragrance for semi formal situations.

The scent is not great. Smells cheap and doesn't even stay on long. Well, that is good, especially if it's very pleasant.
