Orchard Toys Dinosaur Race Game & Three Little Pigs Game

It’s different and a good game really and my grandson loves it but I’m not keen.

Son 3 plays daily…..you can amend the rules to suit age of child ….he loves dinosaurs so this has gotten him into board games

I received this game today which I had ordered as a gift for my niece from her soon-to-arrive baby cousin. She loves all things dino. I have no doubt that she will love this game as she already has a few of the Orchard Toys board games (shopping list, dotty dinos etc) and plays them regularly.However, I was disappointed to discover that someone had already used the game that I received. Inside the box, a number of the pieces had already been removed from the cardboard that they come in, and the individual pieces of the spinner had also been removed from their cardboard holdings and put together - so the spinner was complete. The various bits and pieces were all lose around the bottom of the box, I had to put them all back together into the cardboard holes they had been popped out of to make sure everything was there and present. There's also a small bash on the corner of one of the pieces of the race track (if you want to be really fussy!).Unfortunately, it will be obvious when I give this to my sister that the game has already been used by someone.Overall, disappointing experience from Amazon. Makes me wonder how many other things we have received have been similarly used without knowing. I don't think this particular item should have been advertised as 'new'.Donna

My daughter loves it, you count to a max of 5 so excellent to get them used to that as part of a game

I very rarely write reviews but I felt compelled to for this one. Our kids are 3 and 5 and we are now able to sit and play games with them so long as the games are right.This games is designed so that each turn, every player has the opportunity of moving (and most of the time they do). This prevents the kids getting frustrated waiting for their turn. Also, each game is only about 5 - 10 minutes long so younger kids with short attention spans don't get too disgruntled and bored of the game.There is lots of counting up to 5 or 6 so any child at pre-school should be able to play.I would recommend this to anyone with young children.

I bought this for to put away for my sons birthday - but got it out when it was a rainy day! It was great fun - he is nearly 3 and his sister is 5. They both enjoyed it (and so did mum and dad). Everyone gets a chance to move on every round, and it encourages counting. We also had some parts already popped out, and some were popped and missing, but these weren't mentioned on the box or the instructions so I don't know what they were supposed to be! We just had an empty part on the card pop out to show something had been there. a great little game and well worth the money for a dinosaur fan

I bought this game for when my Grandchildren who are 4 come to visit. My Grandson who is mad about anything to do with dinosaurs couldn't wait to open it. they definitely needed Help to get started but quickly picked up the idea of matching up the discs and loved the winners podium and medals at the end. I am sure we will have lots more fun with this game. Only one small negative, the spinner is very lightweight and needs holding while they spin it although as al small piece of blu tack under it to fix it to the table helps.
