Good product for a good price.

I purchased this new to be insured by manufacturer's warranty. The product failed after 3 months. I paid someone to pull all the codes. They were all related to the ABS module. I attempted to exercise the warranty using the 3rd party that had sold the product through amazon. After multiple attempts with different ways of connecting they appear to have gone out of business. I contacted the manufacturer directly hoping to get the warranty honored. They had this response:-----------------------Dorman warranties its products to its direct customers, and them to their direct customers down the line. In the case of a brick-and-mortar store, this is a lot simpler because the natural thing to do is bring it back to the store where you bought it and they’ll just swap it out for you. In the case of this third party seller, we have no idea where they got the part; it could very well be used or refurbished, which would invalidate the warranty. If the seller purchased the part directly from Dorman, they could turn around and Dorman would service the warranty directly to them. This is a common way for warranties to work in the automotive industry. I understand it can be a little different from the way you might be used to warranties working with online sellers, and I do apologize for the inconvenience.-----------------------So in the digital world, where companies can come and go and the customer has no control, a manufacturer's warranty does not offer any real insurance against a product failure. Might as well try refurbished and save some bucks.

It is a direct replacement for the ABS module in my 2002 S-10 Blazer. Easy to swap out, no more ABS light!
