Anything is possible when you have the ability to create a dream that inspires a dream-team to work tirelessly to make it happen. Geoff tells an engaging story which unfolds in parallel to masterminding a circumnavigation of Britain in a tiny boat followed over land by a huge winebago. It is humbling to read how Geoff over comes mountains of obstacle to achieve his person Everest, supported every wave and mile of the way by his remarkable wife Elaine, who enables Geoff every "step" of the of the way on this Walking on Water.

I bought it as a present for a friend and it was a bit grubby but fine. Inside the cover it said '75p' - and I paid about a fiver for it, so it's nice to know that someone is earning a living selling these things. Thanks guys. Keep doing it.

Geoff started out in life socially disadvantaged, with less education that average, and then he gets a spinal injury. If he had turned to a life of despair and rejection, we'd all understand.But he has made himself an invigorating and inspiring success, a life to be admired. Yet behind him is an unsung hero, his wife, who has worked hard and lovingly to get him where he is now.Geoff is a great man, and so is his wife.Read and be inspired.

As a disabled sailor when I started sailing a Challenger Trimaran I had heard of Geoff Holt and his Round Britain Adventure, so I searched for the book on Amazon. I received the book quickly, at a good price and am well pleased with the book and the service I received. It is a good read, but I think I will stick to sailing my Challenger on the reservoir!

A wonderful read and a perfect present for a sailor for quiet reading while at sea on a calm day!
