1883 Maison Routin - Lavender Syrup, Pure & Satisfying, Great for Cocktails & Sodas, Made in France, PET Bottle (33.8 oz, 2-Pack)

I sort of I wish I had done better research. People laud that this is the best syrup, outside of homemade, to make lavender coffee and cocktails. On further inspection, it seems the glass and plastic bottles might have different standards of quality of syrup. I received the plastic version and it was rather difficult to remove the top. After prying open with some pliers, I realized that the seal was either broken or some of the syrup had spilled, effectively sealing the bottle and cap together. I tossed that one because I think integrity of the product was compromised. The second bottle, flavor wise was like the other, a little bland compared to Monin's syrup, however it was usable. I'm gonna try to find the glass bottle of this brand but the two plastic 1883 bottles, it wasn't bad but not great.
