Beautiful, well-made, easy to clean, and lightweight food-grade stainless steel cat dishes.Our still young kitten who is just over six pounds can eat and drink from these dishes - without her whiskers touching either sides. So, no whiskers fatigue from these dishes.(Only larger cats - let's say well over ten pounds - might have issues with whiskers touching the sides.)An undocumented but very valuable feature of the bowls are their nearly concave dish bottom. Your cat won't have to struggle to lick out food from corners. And, you'll have less food waste and cleaner dishes.Despite comments to the contrary, we were *NOT* inconvenienced by the dishes *NOT* having a non-skid bottom. After many cats, we've learned that non-slip cat dish mats are essential to keeping floors around cat dishes clean. Despite the finicky reputations of cats, it turns out that most cats are quite messy eaters.You can hand-wash (or use the dishwasher) to clean these dishes. For handwashing these dishes — which we prefer, we use a regular, anti-bacterial dishwashing soap, rinse thoroughly after with clean hot water, and wipe dry with a clean dish cloth. If we decide to use our dishwasher, we make sure to rinse the dishes in hot water afterwards to remove any "rinse agent" residue, and wipe dry with a clean dish cloth.(Please Note: On arrival, we did detect, at certain light angles, a slight, and extremely small indentation at the same location on the exterior of each bowl. Since this mark is almost invisible and in no way impeded function of the dishes, we did not consider this a product defect.)After over two weeks of continual use, we feel these are the best cat dishes we've ever purchased. Well worth the money and deserving of all five stars we gave them.

Got these bowls for some stray cats we feed. Convex design makes it a little harder for bugs to crawl in, but a few still make it (outdoors). Good weight and quality. Haven't had them for long so don't know how they'll stand up to the weather. Appear to be double wall construction but not vacuum insulated (not that insulation is claimed or important).

I've purchased literally hundreds of bowls for my cats over the years and these are the best by far. My cats kept getting acne from their plastic bowls and cheap stainless bowls. These food grade bowls clean really well. They don't harbor bacteria and food reside. They are also heavy enough so that the cats don't slide the bowls across the floor or tip them over. I love them so much I bought another set for their wet food too! Well worth paying a little extra for the quality. Also after just one week of using them the cats acne is clearing up.

These bowls are a perfect size for my cats. They're light weight, but the rubber base keeps them in place. They are also easy to clean.

The top rim of the bowl is rather sharp! It won't cut you but I definitely don't want my pets neck rubbing on it. As you can see in the photo, even a single one of these takes up more space than over 6 of another kind of bowl I got for $4 each. In addition to two of these, I got two similar looking ones under another brand name but they are almost identical expect for the inner surface. These seem to have an additional thin layer added that has a sort of air pocket like bounce you find on the cap of a sealed beverage bottle.
