Call it something other than 'carrot '
This provides very good coverage and is easy to apply with a makeup brush. I did not attempt to use the applicator provided. I have dark blonde hair and was uneasy about ordering a color called 'carrot.' It is more brown in color but does have a slightly reddish tint. It works well for my hair and I have ordered this product more than once.

Doesn’t make your hairline natural looking
I couldn’t make this product work. I noticed how fake it looked and I blended so much until my arms were tired. I ended up washing it out of my hair and threw it out.

FYI the little puff that you put it on with is on the bottom of the container.
I liked the way it looked, and it didn't have an odor at all. It did a good job of covering the gray in between coloring my hair.
