Findhorn Spirit Oracle Cards

I'm really enjoying this deck a lot. The themes are wonderful for working through issues and i really appreciate what is in the guide book. It is introducing new symbols and archetypes to me that i have not considered before. The art is lovely.I don't buy too many oracle decks anymore but I'm glad i preordered this one last year because it was such a treat to receive it this week!

My first deck was in 1974 and I am not attracted to the energy from a lot of decks but really expected a deck of vibrant energy from Findhorn. I knew the colors appeared muted from internet photos but found the drawings are also flat, lifeless and some are just creepy. Depicting energy forces in 2D would be challenging and this deck misses the mark totally.Without telling her how I felt about this deck I gave it to an artist friend who knows Findhorn. She has played the transformation game, she feels energy sprites in nature and also has classic and oracle decks. She said she was very sorry but she didn't want it didn't like the colors, pictures and felt no life in them.The descriptions I read in the booklet were good but wasn't motivated to read all before I gave deck away.I gave it two stars since it is from Findhorn and the deck box was very sturdy.
