There are substitutes for the food you eat now, low sodium, low fat, fat free and light varieties.Menu talks about different food groups you should have and what foods are in them.Also how many servings and calories one should intake.Recipes start with a title, servings and list of ingredients and how to make it There are no pictures and nutritional information includes servings, calories, total fat, carbs, . Some dishes include also sat. fat protein, fiber, sodium, potasium, magnesium and calciumSome also include old and new point WW system and different list of sodium without salt and cholesterol. Not sure why the same listings aren't used throughout-probably copied from another book?Handful of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would be hard to locate a recipe for a certain food item as there is not an index or table of contents.

I highly recommend the section of ‘the Do’s and Don’ts’ as there ...
Most honest diet book I have ever read, it goes right to the point as every book should go to, it doesn’t have all that mumble jumble about vitamins, vegetables, and all that. No, the author encourages you to eat healthy and this book contains a lot of recipes about how to cook some special meals but with fewer ingredients so you don’t have to buy a lot of things, it keeps it simple and still works.I highly recommend the section of ‘the Do’s and Don’ts’ as there is a lot of helpful information about what you can eat in a daily basis according to your routine so you don’t have to overthink about what to make for dinner.This is a really nice book and it should provide a lot of people with recipes to keep (or start) a more healthy life.

Simple instructions to make eating healthier, easier!
DASH Diet for Beginners isn’t like most “diet” books that spend the first half of the book going over what vitamins you need and how important they are for you. We know this information and sometimes it is overkill in the books that are out there.Emma Fisher starts out explain how this book came about, then she explains how the diet works, and finally she gives some simple “Do and Don’ts”. The last part of the book contains recipes with detailed instructions on how to make the meal. Emma’s recipes do not require you to buy a lot of ingredients you don’t already have on hand. She teaches you how to take what you have a make a healthier meal that will taste good. I am looking forward to making the stir-fries that are outlined in the book.

Poorly written, typo-filled junk
I was looking for an informative summary of the DASH diet and some recipes to get me started, and this was very disappointing. This booklet appears to have been published without editing or even spell-checking. The first 10 pages are full of typos, incomplete sentences, and poor grammar. I couldn't bear to keep reading beyond that, but the rest of the book it appears to remain poorly written and vague. It sounds like it was poorly auto-translated from another language. Why would I trust recipes and nutrition facts from someone who didn't even care enough to read through and edit their book before publishing it? This booklet is a total waste of money- you can find more accurate information about the DASH diet on the American Heart Association's website.

a life healthily lived.
This is a great diet for me and my family. I value this information highly since my father has hypertension and I want to help him get well from his sickness. This book is very helpful and has a lot of important recipes that could help reduce hypertension. A very good guidelines in lowering blood pressure without needing any necessary medications. This is what we call, prevention is better than cure. Now, I have understood and learned this diet so I will be able to start practicing it today.

Recommend to try DASH DIET.
Obesity rate are rising around the world, but in US-we are the sixth highest rate of obesity in the world.Obesity leads to problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and more.Contrary to many fad diets today, this DASH diet is a great natural way to treat such problems, it’s encourage us to still eat healthy and delicious meals and help us lose weight.This book has tons of yummy DASH diet recipes.The recipes are easy to prepare and also mouth-watering and I am looking forward to trying more recipes.

DASH Diet: The DASH Diet for Beginners is a very valuable book. A worthwhile book if you are interested in the DASH diet as a way of keeping your body perfect and for people who wish to lose weight. If you want to trim weight go get this dash diet. I guarantee you that this book is so effective.

Worth a read
Dash Diet for beginners is a short but informative read. It was interesting to read the positives for trying this diet out and certainly would recommend to others that had some of the health problems addressed that relate to poor diet and obesity such as high blood pressure, diabetes and more. Unlike some of the fad diets out there this diet is supposed to encourage to still eat healthy and delicious meals but still help you lose weight even if you're just 14 days in the diet.The book is only about 52 pages long and the beginning is informative explaining what it's all about and the do's and don'ts. I couldn't do this diet myself but I'd be happy to recommend to family members who have some of the health conditions mentioned. I liked that there was several recipes included at the back and some looked very tasty.All in all I think this could be a helpful little book to someone that wants to try something that will help them improve their health and lifestyle.

poorly written, tiny booklet
This tiny little book is so poorly written. The grammar and sentence structure is so bad that I constantly found myself re-reading lines to try to make sense of what was written. It also seems that extra words were added in (again, a sentence structure issue) perhaps to pad the word count. This tiny booklet claims "Includes Delicious and Irresistible Dash Diet Recipes" and example is toast half an English muffin, put some cream cheese on it and slice some fresh fruit on top. To me that's not a recipe. So I just didn't find this well written whatsoever nor were the "recipes" of any help to me.
