REZIPOHummingbird Feeder Botton

I've been needing a replacement for the base of this brand of hummingbird feeder for a while. Thankfully, now one has been made available.One issue is that the replacement base, plastic part, would not screw onto the glass of the original feeder. Looking closely at the difference in the two, the new part has much taller threads. Being handy and owning plenty of tools I used a small sanding drum to reduce the thread height until it fit.

We had to replace the original plastic bits that came with our feeders and this is a nice option that looks like it will last

Some seller needs to make plastic replacement bases for the handblown glass feeders. Cannot find any online and the metal bases get rusty and the paint chips off and they are a pain to clean. I would buy several replacement bases if they were manufactured in plastic with a universal fit. Why is this so hard?

This is a good replacement base (base only). I needed to replace the base on a glass globe and this worked perfectly. Fast delivery; good packing.

I like how well made it is with metal for the top part which is why I purchased it to replace the flimsy plastic one on my glass Hapito feeder. The red bowl part does not fit the screw on threads of the glass Hapito brand, but the top part does very well and resolves the issue of the Hapito brand needing a new top part with the flowers and holes for the hummingbird to feed from. Much cheaper than buying a whole new glass feeder.

This item I bought for the 2nd time and it leaks, just like the 1st one, can you maybe give me advice as to how I can adjust it, or return the item!?

if the birds like it, I like it.
