Had dying plants, this revived them all.
Was new to having live plants in a tank. I have a 3 gallon betta tank kit that came with a light, needless to say, that light sucked, and all my plants were turning brown and dying. because the tank is on a shelf that is blocked from lots of sunlight most of the day, these plants needed a reliable source of GOOD quality light. I found this as a last ditch effort to save them as about 75% of most of the plants were all brown and dying. in a little under 2 weeks, all the brown parts have fallen off and have pretty much instantly been replaced by new green leaves/stems! As a matter of fact this light almost worked "too well" being that now algae is growing quite rapidly so I need to purchase a tank scrubber. Not too big of a deal though, that's the lights job and algae is natural. Would much rather clean algae than deal with dead plants creating nitrates in my tank. I highly recommend this light.

Very bright!
Great quality, very bright. My jungle val has taken off since I put it on. Two things, though. One is that it does not fit rim of your standard aqueon tank. I didn't measure mine before I bought it, I figured I could rig it. And it does sit on there just fine, but I'm sure if it were bumped it would fall in. The other is that if you're putting it on a tank on the edge of the described length of the light, it could very easily fall out. There's nothing to hold the light in the mount. (For size reference, it fits sideways on a 5.5 gallon.) I'm going to put this light on a 2 gallon shrimp tank and get a bigger light for my 5.5 betta tank... Also, I don't love that you push a button to turn the light on. I know a lot of lights are like that, but I worry about water getting into it.Overall, though, I love the light, just not on the setup I bought it for. Strongly recommend for small tanks.

Mini fuge light
I bout this for a marina breeding box that is being used as a hang on refugium for my 14cube reef. I had a little tuft of chaeto that was growing on live rock and tossed it in the fuge, added the light and presto the chaeto took off along with any sign of nitrates. Before this i was sitting anywhere from 40-80 ppm but not no more. The light is perfect for this small setup and doesnt get hot at all. Would buy another one for sure if the need ever arises.

Great little light!
I bought this little light because my tanks original cheap little lights went out and holy cow what a difference! I have some Anubias and Pothos cuttings in there so I wanted something that might help them grow and thrive. It has only been in there like a week and the anubias already are moving toward the light and the pothos have a ton of new roots. I was so happy as soon as I turned it on it is SO bright and beautiful. My tank is only 2 gallons and I have seen complaints that it is not bright enough but I don't see how unless they didn't read the description and tried putting it on a big tank. It is beautiful. My tank has a lid so I couldn't use it how it is intended with the little plastic supports, so I just sat it on the top and I will eventually attach it to the inside of the lid with Velcro. It is SO thin and sleek which makes it perfect for this. I could just leave it on the top since it's so thin. Over all I love this light and am considering buying more for my other small betta tanks. I hope it lasts!

Working well so far
They are very small and very lightweight and so it's too easy to knock them out of place, though they have survived falling off the tanks a time or two. Been in service for about 3 months. The brackets are very flimsy. They turned out to be too short to fit on the rims of the 2.5 G tanks I intended to use them on, which was my fault for not measuring better. So I can't say if they'd remain in place on the rimmed tanks but I have slipped them into the brackets and so far, they are doing ok, sitting on my tank's glass lids, so I can still use them. The power cord is too short to make a proper drip loop, which is a safety issue, but the adaptor is compact and fits on most power bars, which is much appreciated. For the price and for very small tanks they are not bad.

surprised
ive got a 5gal and a 30gal aquarium. i thought id buy the light for my 5gal. first and see how well it worked. i took the box out of the mailer and my first thought was youve got to be kidding. anyhow i plugged in the light and boy was i surprised. the unit puts out a lot more light than i expected. i dont know the kelvin amount as measured to sun light or how long it will last or plant growth being as i just plugged it in. day 1 extremely happy and after i finish this review im going to order another light, for my 30gal. i would highly recommend this light.

Excellent for nanos or bowls
This was the smallest LED light I could find for my fishbowl. It does great at growing freshwater plants and is very bright. Illuminates excellently. My only complaint is it didn't come with either plastic or metal brackets and that because I used them on a round bowl, the brackets are not the correct shape which also means I can not use the screws that came with them to tighten them to the lip of the bowl. Still love the lights tho.

Great Little Light
This is a great aquarium light. I have a small aquarium that’s 10 by 10 inches that this fits perfectly on. I bough two for my planted aquarium and it produces enough light to ensure my plants grow. These lights also stay relatively cool and don’t heat the aquarium too much.
