Multi-test A1C System - Model 85621 - Box of 20

I was skeptical about the accuracy of this product so I decided to do an experiment. Before my blood test at the hospital lab, I used this product to check my A1C at home. I compared the result with my hospital lab test and the results were within +/- 0.1% of each other. I was quite surprised! This experiment gave me confidence that this product is as accurate as the hospital lab test so I can count on this product to keep track of my A1C on a monthly basis at home. Highly recommended.

I ordered this product with the expectation of tracking my A1C as I made dietary changes. I didn't know what to expect for my first reading and took it at face value. My second reading was done two weeks later and I didn't expect a drastic change, but it was quite drastic over 1.0 change in 2 weeks. I was confused with the second reading and so I immediately took another test. This test (the third test overall and done within 5 minutes of the 2nd test) had a .3 change from the second test. The product has been stored in room temperature in one of my kitchen cabinets. All instructions were followed as per the printed guidelines in the kit.I wouldn't recommend this kit. You can't trust the results. It is a waste of $200.Update: the seller will not accept the device back nor give me my money. I wouldn't do business with this seller again.
