One of our favorites!
We are Star Wars fans but I think this game is fun if you are a fan or not, I wish it wad longer but I guess that's nice for younger kids who lose interest fast. Fun game and great for a Star Wars fan!

Awful Experience!
I changed my hardware and environment to get this piece of junk to work and nothing worked. The motion controls shake and jitter all over. It constantly loses track of my controllers and the game itself is bugged. I had to reload episode 1 six times to get it to the part where I am in front of Vader and it glitched again when the device, I'm guessing a holocron, wouldn't open until the third reset of the game. Truly an awful buggy mess of a game.

Amazing visuals, but over before it started
For anything over $10, I'd probably pass on this game unless you don't mind playing the 3 short missions over and over again. Then maybe I'd go to $20. This is a 2-star game bumped up to 3 only because of the level of VR detail that engrosses you while playing.StoryAct I:Teaches you to battle with your light saber. You start off in your ship with your robot crewmate until Vader forces you to land. He then goes Don Corleone with an offer you can't refuse, help him find an important artifact. All said and done it took maybe 20-30 minutes to complete.Act II:Teaches you how to use the force. Most of this is cinematic in nature with very little interaction on your part. There are two main battles, a rancor and a few random robots. While they were both fun, the entire thing was short lived. I'd probably say under 20 minutes, which includes getting stuck on a ladder for at least 3 minutes (frustrating to say the least!).Act III:Hopefully longer than the first two. I haven't played it yet, but I'm guessing it has about the same amount of content as the first two, maybe a little more based on other reviews.Visuals:Things are absolutely stunning in VR. The level of detail put into things is impressive. A few scenes that really impressed me, the interior of your space craft (act I) and riding the device to the city (forget the name, act II). Being able to look around and admire parts of the world that would be ignored in most video games was nothing short of amazing.Controls:At times the controls can be quite frustrating. As I alluded to earlier, climbing being one such thing. I could climb the rungs of a ladder easily enough, but having it release at the top was far more difficult than it needed to be. At one point it took almost 3 minutes of trying basically all button combinations to get off of a ladder (which you'd think would be a relatively easy task).Moving around is done by advancing instead of moving around your playing area. I actually prefer this because you tend to forget your orientation in the real world when playing VR. For example, my area consists of foam workout mats. I start in the middle of it when playing. At one point I felt the edge of the mat without realizing how close to my game system I was. Do a quick search and you'll see people who punched their TV or wall because they were too close and involved in playing. When you're in the middle of an intense battle, the last thing on your mind is where you are in relation to outside world items. The blocking system was another thing I had issues with while playing. I started in the training dojo and practiced blocking. I blocked in a manner you would in real life, but that's not how the game is set up. For blades coming from the side, you need to hold the lightsaber vertically to your left or right. I would turn my body and angle my sword to block the blow, which would result in a hit. This took away from the authenticity, and to some degree difficulty, of the game. Instead of being able to block in a manner an actual jedi (or swordsman) would, you hold the saber a little to your right or left and block all incoming attacks from that side. A bit overly simplistic if you ask me.Training Dojo:Probably the most involved portion of the game, but does a really poor job of explaining important actions. I made it to level 7 of the 1st dojo and then got stuck because the blocking system wasn't well explained. After playing through act I, which has quick 2 minute tutorial built in, I was able to block much better. To me this shows how the dojo fails when it is supposed to be training you while I learned more in the actual game.

Controllers don’t work
Got this game tonight. Very disappointed. Game couldn’t identify the controllers. Screen locked on ‘press any button to continue’. No instruction to start. No troubleshooting. Overall bad experience.
