It does the job. Cord is a little stiff for a 7.5 inch jump. The connectors are solid rubber, which is good. But if you need low cable pressure/torque on your system (i.e. a gimbal) then you should pay for a 90 degree adapter and a silkier cable.

Nowadays you don't run into mini USBs as much as you used to. But when you need a mini-USB for a bluetooth speaker or a calculator, it's priceless. $10 is a bit pricey for a non-lightning cable, but I'm a big fan of shorties. Who needs excess coils of cable?

I purchased these because the cords that come with external hard drives are usually to long and most now come with a double dongle on the end for extra power. Now that is fine if you need a long cord and that is why they put the extra power usb on them but I did not need the extra length as that is the usual reason for data loss. These short cords are easy to use and don't get in the way. Built well they should last for some time. I got two and love them.

I wanted a short cord connection in my car for a TOMTOM One 3rd Edition. I placed a double USB plug into the power outlet- allowing to recharge my phone or use another item -without disconnecting the TOMTOM. This cord is a perfect fit.I have the TOMTOM on a tiny removable vent mounted bracket just above the power outlet. I wish I'd found this little cord long ago. Remember, the total length includes the end connection pieces- so the actual flexible cord you have to work with is VERY small. Approx. 5 inches.

only 4 stars because we buy one of these every few weeks and i wish they were sturdier. otherwise they do save you the expense of buying a whole new headset

USB-A on one end, USB-B (mini) on the other. Perfect for connecting peripherals that are close to your PC. I use this to connect my digital SLR to transfer pictures and to also play audio from my PC through an external USB Digital-to-Analog converter when listening to audio through my headphones. Unlike most cable today, this one does NOT have the magnetic donut attached to it which adds bulk and weight. Otherwise the cable is very well built and durable. Highly recommended.

Each deivce using a USB cable comes with it's own cable and after a while, you cable collections starts looking like a den of snakes. Tangled, and never the one you want. Theses little guys are great. Short, and they do the same thing as the long ones. I take a rubber band and secure the shorty to my device and I always have the cable that does the job.

I use this with my Lenovo ThinkVision 14" secondary monitor and although it's short and I can only have the monitor on the right side of my laptop for viewing purposes, it definitely keeps the cable clutter to a minimum. Works very well and I have never had a problem with it. I would definitely purchase more if needed.
