Prim Lisa E String Medium

This is a very nice E string and I liked the sound a lot. However, I won't buy it again, since the difference between this and a Goldbrokat E string is not amazing enough to justify the significant difference in cost. The Lisa does seem to last longer than some E strings I've used in the past, but not a LOT longer. Just a bit longer than usual.

Pairs nicely with the Prim mediums. On my instrument it produces an outstanding tone for bluegrass in my opinion. Every instrument is different, but give this try if you are tired of an obnoxious sounding E string. I think you'll be impressed

I like this e-string, it matches my Prim strings and reduces squeaking and other e-string issues. I play old time fiddle and have a pretty aggressive attack on the strings, and so far it's holding up well.

I use Prims on my fiddle, but I found the E that came with the standard set to be harsh, overly loud and whistle-prone. The Lisa has none of those problems, and is my favorite out of all the E strings I've used.

I really liked this E string. It has a pleasing sound that is sweet without being shrill like a Goldbrokat E. However, it snapped after only a few days of use. Not what one should expect from a premium higher-priced e string. Will not buy again!

Everything you want with an "E" string. Good sound, durable, and problem free.

Great string, full sweet tone and plenty LOUD.
