Being digital as lots of things these days could intimidate some old school people. But this appliance, it’s so easy to use that you can’t mistake even if you want to.The best part and what makes this by far superior to any other sandwich or waffle maker is the interchangeability of the plates. It is the main feature that makes me desire it since the first time that I saw this lovely machine. Just push the retainer button and the plate will jump (LET IT COOL FIRST), remove and put the desired plate, push and done, you're ready to rock the next mode (with the grill, being full size you need to keep the machine completely open).I was looking for a single and cheap sandwich maker and I research a lot to get the right one, I saw few options that could change the plates to make waffles and even change to grill for small breakfast. And then this overcome as superior to those options because until I know right At this moment, THIS IS THE ONLY ONE who can change to a FULL SIZE GRILL. It was the main feature that makes me buy this and not the second finalist between my choices, the B&D one.It is a bit silly to had two small plates to grill, if you are going to do your breakfast and even a small BBQ, you need the full size plate, like this one brings. If I could make a suggestion, I will love half of the plate with the bars that brings and the other half plain, so I could play with the eggs to do some omelets with funny shapes. I could love a plain grill, even if I must buy it separately.The non-stick coating is awesome. I put some butter in the first batch that I make, and I could see when it finishes that doesn’t need to at all. Then I do lots of waffles and sandwiches and never use again any lube, not butter, oil, nothing, and never get stick even after the cheese goes out because I put too much.Bottom line, I was looking for a cheap sandwich maker and at the beginning the price stops me to buy this one, but then I saw a good offer with a coupon and I make my bet, even as the B&D stills was cheaper but again, the full size grill was too good to ignore. Now, I don’t regret at all and not only am I convinced that worth his price but in fact it was an awesome bargain. And the stainless steel/silicone tongs that came included are very handy and valuable.I still not use the grill and even as it could be improved in some details, I simply I love this machine.Pros:- Very easy interchangeability of the plates, giving extreme versatility and simplicity of use.- Very intuitive control panel.- Fair enough to clean. The waffle plates are tricky since I don’t want to scratch the non-stick coating.- Long enough cable.- Fire and forget. You just put the right menu/temp, go and do other stuffs and come when the really loud beep warns you that your waffle or sandwich is ready.- Full size grill which allows a better variety of meals, like BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, different kinds of breakfast, etc.- Really nice and efficient non-stick coating that looks as it could last years (if you are very careful and gentle).- Silicone tongs included.Cons:- You are going to need a silicon pallet to lift the waffle or the sandwich without scratch the plate and the coating (the tongs included are not flat and long enough).- The bars on the grill plate takes apart some grill versatility.- I couldn’t find spare plates to buy so, take good care of those you want because when the coating die, you lose it (no spare parts, at least on Amazon as I could see).- 1.000W is a little bit low.- Only white color, you must have extra care at cleaning and even with the time, I fear that could become yellowish.- The sandwich plates doesn’t make enough pressure to cut the sandwich at half with some kinds of thick bread, because of the spring system. Really nice design, not strong enough springs.I could add few suggestions:- The most important are the spare parts and accessories availability. The versatility could increase a lot. The options are limitless since the interchangeably plates system is so freaking awesome. A totally flat grill is something that I could buy right now, and if I have accidents and scratch the coating, I really appreciate buying the spare plate. A shaped waffle plates could be nice too, like cars, hearts or dinosaurs waffles for kids. Seriously, the ideas are endless.- Another colors. Black is the first one to come to my mind, but gray and blue would be nice options too.- More powerful models, like 1500 or 1.600W.- Maybe stronger springs, so they could make the sandwich cutting complete.At the end I’m so happy with my machine that in a couple of months if still no plates available to buy, perhaps I will look for a good blacksmith or something to make extra plates. Really, this one becomes my favorite kitchen appliance.P.D: the brown ones in the picture, was me trying to do chocolate waffles, and as you can see, mission accomplished.

My new WOWDSGN 3-in-1 Multi-Function Waffle Maker!Cooked Bacon on the square grill. Be careful removing plate!Cooked evenly across the surface. Bacon was perfect. Just like we like it!…………………FROM PREVIOUS POST: We removed the plate and inserted the waffle plates in a few seconds.Hit “On” and after a short time to warm the plates we were making Waffles!Clean up was so easy as the plates remove by depressing the right side buttons.First batch of waffles were thin but the following batches produced thick wafflesafter I used more batter to cover all the squares of the bottom plate.I used cooking spray on the first 2 batches but (truthfully) forgot on the 3rd.Waffles popped out without a problem! So no cooking spray required!We washed by hand but the plates are dishwasher safe.…………………GRILLED HAM AND CHEESE FOR LUNCH! We reversed the waffle plates and madeGolden sandwiches served hot off the grill. Everyone loved them!…………………⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️WOWDSGN IS easy to clean, easy to use, and very versatile.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for each!

I pleased in this waffle maker that came with different plate such for grill and sandwiches .I just got it and works pretty well for me, I like to cook different type of grommet food for my families.This makes easy for me!! Great value!!The only reason I gave 4 stars on overall reviewBecause I just got it for few days, all good.Hopefully it last for while.

Yesterday, I decided I wanted waffles. Arrived just in time for breakfast! Took some trial and error with adjusting batter consistency, fill level, temperature, etc. but that’s to be expected. Very easy to check on the waffles to see if they need more time. In this case they did, but again trial run + different batter. And I live alone, so it’s not like I need to be constantly cranking out waffles. Ordered a batter dispenser, so then it’ll be as simple as make up thing of batter, dispense, put batter back into fridge.Tasty end result! Clever design, well made, easy to clean, stores away nicely.Haven’t tried sandwiches or grill, but I bought it as a waffle maker, so anything else is an added bonus!

I bought this waffle maker after using a standard round maker for awhile. I wanted removable plates - and these are great! Very easy to use and clean. I make grilled cheese and hash browns in the sandwich press. The grill works very well too and didn’t set off the smoke detector- a big plus! The buttons are a little hard to press, but maybe it takes wearing in. I wish it had a retractable cord or the thing to wrap it around. Great price for a great product!

I bought this waffle iron because my old one was too inconvenient to clean. I was looking for something with detachable plates. The iron works very well, and I love that I can put the plates into the dishwasher. The only drawback is that it's pretty slow - 8 minutes is a long time for one waffle, and even at the darkest setting, it's not all that browned. I have also tried the panini press, and it works great. The springs behind the plates regulate the pressure well, and it works well with different thickness sandwiches. Overall great value, especially at this price point.

I used the sandwich press and waffle press. Both did a wonderful job. Waffles came out crispy and firm. Really easy to swap plates out. Easy to clean.Awesome all round

We used the waffle maker three times for waffles and sandwiches. After washing the plates and moving them out of the water to dry them we noticed that our fingers were black. Not knowing what it was, we proceeded to dry the back of the plates we noticed that the dish cloth was full of black marks. We then checked the plates and saw that the metal at the back of the plates had totally deteriorated.
