These glasses are perfectly designed. They are beautiful and incredibly smooth all around, the lip is somehow made at an angle that makes drinking really hot coffee satisfying, and they keep coffee hot for a really long time. Before purchasing them I was a little worried that no heat would transfer through the glass, and that I'd lose the satisfying feeling of holding my warm coffee mug first thing in the morning. But just enough heat gets through, while at the same time they keep my coffee hotter for longer than any other coffee mug I own. These are by far my favorite thing to drink hot drinks from. One warning: they are fragile, and you need to get used to drinking hot liquids from a mug without a handle. Because the outside of the glass makes it seem like the inside isn't very hot, it is easy to accidentally pour hot liquid on your hand. But these are extremely high quality glasses made, it seems, by a master artisan.

Amazing that these double walled glasses are microwave and dishwasher safe. Great product; doesn't matter how hot the beverage, the glass never gets hot to the touch; with enough time and enough hot coffee, they may get mildly warm..... nice glasses. OH, these glasses are fairly large diameter. I have large hands and my grip on the glass is about 2/3 around. When holding the glass, the gap between my fingers and thumb is over three inches. The circumference of this glass is almost 12 inches, (11-3/4")If you have medium or small hands, there are double wall glasses with handles, and also a smaller version of this glass.

They where nice while they lasted but after multiple hand washes the small dimple on the bottom of the glass started having water sip through and very hard to get it out once its inside.Update: After talking with one of the customer care personal from Stone & Mill, I have received the replaced glass cups with much better quality control. Seems like they upped it after a year of owning the ones mentioned in the review. I'd say even if you might have issues with the cups in the future, the Stone & Mill guys will replace it free of charge. Great service and great cups. Will buy in the future if ever need more.

After brew these glasses will go from ~190° to 140° in 15 minutes. A standard ceramic mug or glass will lose the same amount of heat in half that time: ~6-7 minutes. I use them for coffee and like how there is no handle- the cup is cool enough to hold because of the double wall. Drinking coffee out of them is a new experience because of the transparency of the glass.One of the cups leaked water inside after the first use/wash. I didn't microwave or put them in the dishwasher. I emailed the company and within a week I had a new set on my doorstep. Great customer service. These are nice glasses but aren't as premium as you'd think. There are dimples on the bottom and the lip of the glass is a little inconsistent. Considering the price of them I'd say this is perfectly acceptable.

I bought four of these in August and two months later I only have two left. (((I noticed after I put them in dishwasher they started to fill up with water on the inside layer of the glass. Upon looking closer I noticed the small hole in the bottom of the glasses which I guess was used to make the glass with in the first place. The problem is the holes are not sealed properly. It’s gross having the dishwasher water drip out of the glasses and sometimes it doesn’t come out easily. On top of that once when I was pouring my tea in I heard a crack and discovered the inside of the glass had cracked!The overall conclusion is that the durability of these is not great, which I am surprised about because the company is reputable for kitchen ware. However I do like the shape. I will be purchasing more glasses to replace the broken ones and also in anticipation of the last two breaking soon, but not from this company.**Update**It was a nice surprise to receive two more of these glasses from the company after my negative review. It's nice to be listened to as a customer. That felt good.These glasses are holding up fine so far and are not filling up with water or breaking. I'm no longer ordering another brand as I am happy with these, unless they break or leak! I will update my review if that happens, and meanwhile giving the product an extra two stars.

These glasses are delicate a treasure. I purchased them originally for my mother during the Thanksgiving holiday and have since bought them for myself. Although, the enclosed handling instructions state you should not microwave, you absolutely can heat/reheat your beverage in these glasses. Because they are delicate and light, we wash them by hand only. We absolutely love them. We used them for hot and cold beverages. Hot beverages seems to stay hot longer than conventional mugs. And no matter the temperature of your beverage, it is safe to hold the glass. The outer layer of the glass maybe warm to touch, which I find very cozy to cradle in hand. If you are like me and like to enjoy your hot beverages hot, you will not go wrong with this purchase. You will love these glasses so much you will want to purchase additional cup sizes.

Not sure why these are considered a tea or coffee cup since there is not a handle. Great for cold beverages, but not hot ones. Poorly packaged. One arrived broken.

These double-wall glass cups are the best. I use these cups every day to serve my pour-over coffee. The way they are designed allows for you to see through your clear beverages but also they keep your beverage at the right temperature. I've also placed them in the freezer and used them to pour white wine, and again they keep the wine at the right temperature. They are elegantly designed and look beautiful on the table.

I decided to purchase these glasses after using something similar to drink green tea in Belgium. I loved the way the gold tea sparkled in the glass and the elegant lines of the double wall design. I did look in various shops whilst I was on holiday but the prices seemed exorbitant. So I decided to check out Amazon when I got home and found these reasonably priced glasses.Now I have received them and I have to say they are perfect. I have one on my desk at work and my green tea looks fantastic in it. OK, you have to get past the fact that green tea looks like something you should be delivering to your local doctor but the glass if fabulous. It does get warm but even when full of boiling water the outer surface is quite comfortable to hold.They are so nice I have given the 2nd glass to my mother and she loves it also.Good quality, well packaged and robust. Perfection!

Great coffee glasses, keeps coffee hot for longer and look stylish and modern. We first saw these in a local restaurant and just had to get some for ourselves.

The glasses came packaged really well in a very presentable box which would look nice if opened as a present and my first impressions were that they seem well made and are finished very nicely with no scratches or haze.I have had similar glasses in the past made by another brand so I knew what to expect with the handling and drinking experience. It does feel a little alien to not have a handle but that is soon forgotten once you hold one of them with hot contents and you're not burning your hand.I did a little non scientific test to see how much longer the glass kept its contents warmer than a traditional mug (The traditional mug had a slightly hotter start). I took a readout every 10 minutes and after 30 minutes the insulated glass was still around 7 degrees hotter so you definitely get a little longer to savour a brew or if you forget about it theres a good chance it will still be drinkable like i seem to do every other day.I have had these glasses for over 3 weeks now and with daily use they are cleaning up great. I have mistakenly put one in the dishwasher and it survived but there is a card that comes in the box that warns not to put them in the microwave or dishwasher. There is a small resin/plastic lug in the base of the glass which seals the unit and I believe that to be the weak spot. I think it would perish with the heat from the microwave and prolonged dishwasher cycles. It is a bit of a nag trying to remember and also tell other family members not to put these ones in the dishwasher but they clean easily with a cloth as they are quite shallow.I do tend to reach for these first in the cupboard as they do make a cup of Tea look fancy and also keep it warmer for longer so they are becoming a bit of a favourite. However If am venturing outside to do a bit of work in the garden I still go with a traditional mug as the glasses don't balance to well on uneven surface and they probably wouldn't survive a 6 inch tumble.All in all a nice product which will be used for a long time, I am already looking forward to summer testing with cold drinks!

I love these hot drink glasses, they look good, feel good and somehow make the drink taste even better. It is strange being able to hold a cool glass with a hot drink in it. I will be buying some more in the range.

Nice glasses but the description says they are dishwasher proof (which is why I ordered them) and yet leaflet inside the box warns you they most definitely are NOT dishwasher safe and must be hand-washed.
