Fantastic New Arsenal Book on Wenger Era
This 1st book from a new author is a well thought through, interesting analysis of the highs and lows of the Wenger years and what a great time this was for Arsenal Football Club. Season by Season there are anecdotes and analytics to show what happened and bring backs many memories. I would highly recommend this for all sports fans, football fans and Arsenal fans, a real and honest successful recount.

A great chronology of the Wenger years at Arsenal
A great read and thorough chronology of the 'Arsene Who?' years at Arsenal. In a season-by-season style, highlights, failures, most memorable moments of each year are remembered, while pretty much every match gets a brief mention. As a statistics person I also loved the 'Typical Line-Ups' figures as well as the Highlights, Lowlights, Player of the Year, Top Scorers, Goal of the Season summaries. You can see that a lot of research and work by an excellent writer went into this. I am not an Arsenal fan myself, but loved the book and all the memories about the Premier League it brings back. A wonderful Christmas present for every football/Arsenal fan.

A Chronicle of Wengers Arsenal
I met the author in the Tollington pub pre-match. We talked a bit about the book. It’s a chronicle of the Wenger era, the good, the bad, the ugly, packed full of information and insight. A good read and an essential resource to reflect on the Wenger era.

A first-rate book about one of the Premier Leagues most influential and successful managers.
This treatise covers the highs and lows of Arsene Wenger’s (aka “Le Professeur”), 22 years in charge of Arsenal F.C. However, this book is not just for the die hard “Gooners” fan. Any aficionado of football, even those like me who do not have an allegiance to this North London football club, cannot deny that Wenger’s legacy in the Premier League is beyond question and that he changed the way the game is both played and viewed in England. This book is an excellent constructed piece of work that I found to be superbly researched, highly informative and a hugely enjoyable read.
