The pendant and chain are very pretty and the metal finish on the pendant is nice. I would have liked the back to be covered with metal rather than left bare and the flecking is very tiny, more like glitter than fire opal. This was the best picture I could get. The color matches the leaf earrings I bought from the same company. They were very helpful in finding a necklace that matched the color of the earrings, and it does match, just not the fleck size. Still, it's very pretty and the company was very responsive to my questions. I would definitely buy from them again.

We just returned from Hawaii where we bought an exactly the same pendant but in a different color. It has nothing similar to do with the one we purchased here on Amazon: the metal used is nowhere close to 14K gold plated one, bears no stamp of such and looks poorly made. Keeping it just because our daughter wanted this pendant in this particular color but disappointed at being deceived by false advertising.
