Great value for money. Works perfect

This review is for the “Amazon Brand - Umi Yoga Mat for Women and Men - Non Slip Yoga Mat with Carry Strap Included, NBR - 183 cm x 61 cm x 1cm”, Colour:The mat I received measured slightly smaller than specified in the description. It was 180cm x 59cm x 1cm. It arrived well presented in a sealed plastic wrap.The mat itself is non-slip and should be easy to wipe clean. I was impressed that despite being rolled tight, it was easy to get it to lay flat, just by putting a bit of pressure on the curled ends for a few seconds.There is a strap included that consists of two elastic loops and a strip of UMI branded material joining them together. This allows you to keep the mat rolled up (approximately 16-17cm diameter roll), as well as provide a handy way to carry it.Whilst 1cm thick, as some have noted the padding isn’t as dense as it could be. As a result I would say this mat is most suitable for lighter weight people, and/or for movements/exercises that distribute your weight well. I personally would not like to use it for any impactful exercise in which the point of impact will focus all your weight onto a small area, such as your hands or feet.The big negative for me with this mat was its smell. Despite out-gassing it for a week, the mat gives off a strong smell, that is ever present given your noses proximity to the mat during many yoga movements/exercises. This is going to be subjective, and there is a possibility that this smell would eventually fade, however for me it was very off-putting.If you are aware of its limitations and potential problems and need a cheap mat, then it is certainly worth trying. However, given those limitations and problems, it is hard for me to score this higher than 3 stars.

This Mat overall is nice however it is a bit on the thick side. I think Yoga mats should be a little firmer than this as you want a more stable platform to work on. Because this is so soft and squish it deforms and damages easily so probably won't last very long. Probably good for absolute beginners or those of us who are starting out and are a little heavier.

It's suitable but will it last? It does compress noticeably but then so do other. It flattens out easily and doesn't curl up once laid flat. Easy enough to clean and doesn't slip around. It's acceptable.

This large yoga mat felt really soft on my feet. I definitely didn’t expect it to be this comfortable to use.It comes rolled up which takes awhile for it to get into shape, but slowly but surely, it gets there.Cleaning is fairly easy. I’ve been using wet wipes but a sponge can also work. A simple wipe/scrub and most general dirts will come out with ease.The carry strap is very handy once you are done and need it to stay in place once it’s rolled up again, as well as, it’s not easier to carry around.

A thick mat, easy to roll out and in, easy to clean if needed and it’s really good overall, non slippery side that helps using it on any surface
