Update: Jan, 2023 First purchased these glasses in 2017. Used daily on & off, on & off... In 2021 or early 2022, as another review mentioned and showed in a picture, the plastic where the sides slide to adjust broke. I wore & used them for several more months by taping it in place. Eventually, however, the lense section began slipping out when just hanging around my neck and I'd lose it---finding it again somewhere in the house and starting over with fresh tape. I think what little plastic hadn't broken off and helped at first to hold the two pieces together when taped, was now gone. Tape alone wasn't tight enough for the weight of the lense section.I've updated this review because this is the first pair of readers I've ever used for more than a yr or so--many only lasting 4-6 mos. These, I got almost 5 yrs heavy use out of. Well worth the higher price!I bought another pair in 2022 but at a higher magnification which bothered my eyes. So here I am finally buying exactly the same ones I bought the first time. Oh... and that 2nd pair -- the back up ones, I mentioned in my original review...I put them someplace to keep them safe. For the life of me I have no idea where. I've looked all over for the better part of a yr but haven't found them yet. If there's any con to these glasses it's also what makes them so great. They have the structured, behind the neck form which allows them to hang around your neck--but also doesn't make them easy to store an extra pair. It's not like just putting them in a protective case and throwing them in the console of your the car, or in a kitchen drawer-- they need more room and there's no protective case to shield the lenses. Where ever you put them, be sure they won't be getting all scratched up. I did such a good job on that front I don't know where I put them!ATTEN. CLIC : HAVE I GOT A MARKETING IDEA FOR YOU. Clic Adjustable Front Connect Readers- I'm wearing these now as I write this review. They're comfortable and fit fine with no adjustment needed. The magnet is strong so I don't anticipate any problem with it pulling apart on it's own. The style and cut is such that's it's easy to look up over them to glance at tv, talk to others, walk around my home, etc. I wasn't sure I'd like these. Up to this point, my favorite pair out of probably 100's tried over the years, were a very thin, very light weight & fragile metal wire frame. However, that said, although these aren't as light weight as those were, they are lighter than many others I've had. They're very comfortable to wear and because so easy to look over when not needed, I tend to forget they're on--until I need to see something I'd need reader glasses for and they're right there! A big plus!I bought the tortoise and they're classic, as well as attractive. When I finish this review, I'm goingto order another pair. Normally I'd have a pair for the car, a pair for my purse, a pair in the bathroom, a pair in the kitchen... all who need readers now what I mean. I suspect these will probably always be on so I won't need a spare pair everywhere--just one back-up pair. That said, it's a good thing because they don't fold and so wouldn't fit in my purse anyway. They don't appear to be extra fragile either so I expect them to last a long time. Thank you Amazon for carrying these. I've never seen them before and am, obviously, glad I found them.

Cords to hold glasses tickle , twist and are a pain to use, bead like chains pinch and catch and pull hair . This does neither it lays comfortably on the neck and glasses lay comfortably on the face also! Really like them!!

I use reading glasses for my work on the computer and for any kind of close-up reading. I'm constantly putting on or taking off my glasses to switch from close-up to distance. As a result, I've damaged or lost several pairs of glasses over the years because they fell out of my shirt or off the top of my head where I'd pushed them to get them out of the way. I also sweat fairly easily (and live in a climate that's hot much of the year) and glasses tend to slip down my nose and fall off. I've tried straps and other ways of hanging the glasses around my neck, but haven't been happy with them.Now I've got Clic's "front connect" reading glasses. These solve all the above problems for me, and they're comfortable to wear all day. I can adjust the band around the back just enough to keep them from sliding down my nose without being uncomfortably close. When I want to switch from close-up to distance vision, I just pull the lenses apart, slip them down to hang around my neck and the magnets find each other and snap back together. No more lost glasses! It's fun watching people's expressions when I break the glasses to slip them down to my neck, or when I put them back on again. The magnets hold surprisingly well. The glasses have never broken apart during normal wearing unless I want them to.One inconvenience I couldn't have appreciated before trying them out is that it's more awkward to slip these on and off with just one hand. I can usually slip any regular glasses on and off with one hand. With the Clic glasses it's just a little more awkward to take them off with one hand, and I'm getting pretty good at that. But it's really not easy to put them on without using both hands, because you have to line up the lenses and push them together so the magnets engage.One other difference from regular glasses is that you can't fold them into any kind of a normal eyeglass case for storage or travel. You either wear them, or you set them on a table, or you hang them on a hook. I'll certainly take them traveling, but my spare pair will have to be the old style that fits in a compact travel case.All the same, I'm so glad to find these that I bought 4 pairs, so I'd have a spare in the bedroom, garage workshop, and my office. I wish Clic would price their sunglasses a lot more reasonably, I'd like to get those too.

I have used clips for about last 20Yrs. After having cataract surgery , in most cases reading glasses are a must. I am a nurse who worked in a cataract surgical clinic over 30Yrs. CLICS ARE THE BEST!. No small fortune losing and replacing Readers . They literally stick with you. I can stand on my head and not loose them. Running even showering in them. My CLICS I am currently wearing are over 10 yrs old. I’m looking to have a spare, nothing lasts forever, but my CLICS have been very close.

These are great glasses, with a very strong nose magnet. I’ve always wanted a wraparound pair like you see doctors where they’re very convenient so you don’t lose them and incredibly comfortable to wear I purchased a pair for my dad as well who also loves them! They fit just about anyone
