Make sure you have a 4th Gen Apple TV or look elsewhere!
Once you get these up and going, they are nice switches. The size and nightlight are convenient, and it is nice to track power consumption. However, I had/have two major issues I want to inform other buyers about before you buy.First, unless you are fully invested in the Apple HomeKit, these are probably not right for you. I own several different smart switches and smart home products, but unless you own a 4th Gen Apple TV, you will not get the full functionality out of them. You can get Alexa to control them when asked and setup basic on/off schedules, but there is no way to use your location, sunset, and trigger features unless you have the fully integrated Apple HomeKit setup. They also are very slow to operate on your phone if you are working on a cellular connection and are not connected directly to the same WIFI network as the switch., i.e. it takes about 1-2 minutes sometimes to show the switch status when I open the app and am on cellular, vs. immediate status when I am on the same WIFI network. I don't have this issue with other products. Maybe this improves with the Apple HomeKit, but I wouldn't know. All this really limits their usefulness because there are much cheaper and easier switches to set up on the market than these if your looking for very basic operation.Which brings me to my second issue, the setup. These were a nightmare to setup. I have a smart outlet and wall switch from another manufacturer and they were a breeze (and much cheaper!). I mean setup and running in less than 5 minutes with no issues. The iDevices on the other hand required me to set them up in the WIFI settings of my iPhone first, they add them in the actual app. Even then, only two of six setup without much issue. The other four I bought required numerous reboots, resets, and calls to tech support. There was one switch I actually gave up on for a while because I was sick of messing with it. I happened to try it again several months later and was able to get it to work. I have no idea what the issues were, but it was a VERY, BUGGY, SETUP.I have made probably half a dozen calls and emails to tech support, and while helpful, this product is just buggy and not terribly useful unless you are totally invested with Apple compared to other products. Maybe they have some agreement or are owned by Apple, but seems odd to limit the functionality of their product unless you own and a 4th Gen Apple TV, especially when it is marketed to be compatible with other non-Apple products. So overall other than my personal setup experience, this is not a bad little switch, but just not right for me.

Worth getting.
The first one we bought by itself, started acting up after a few weeks. Had to go through several calls and several emails of iDevice wanting me to try this, that, and the other and download an app to read our WiFi input/output. Was very irritated when they asked for the same thing again a few days later, they needed two readings! Another reading from the app, very annoying. Meanwhile the other three we ordered had come in and the one that took the not working properly one's place...WORKED. I told them that and they still insisted on another email with the app's information on our WiFi and what kind of router we had, serial number, etc., any WiFi extenders, my dogs blood type (not really, my cats blood type, not really, it just seemed that way.)Finally after I finally had it up to here, and told them that they sent a replacement. It works.I really like the iDevice, I like that we can be in other states away and turn on anything we want, that they are attached too, great for being gone on trips, holidays. I like that it can also be on a timer. One of our dogs does not like the sound, can't hear it ourselves, it makes when turning on. Wonder what that's about? Not enough to stop using them, it'll get used to it eventually.

One of the better switches but not the best
One of the better switches but not the best, Search their page and Amazon's for discounts. If you're just starting a smart home and thinking you only want two - this 3 pack is for you :) I like Lutron but at this time they offer only a plug-in dimming switch to be used for dimming lights.UPDATE: If you do a routine wi-fi password update you will have to delete the switch from the idevice app and re-pair - plus - if you personalized the switch with a pic (ie coffee pot pic) you will have to re-add it (to all your smart apps and apple products). This is a pain if you own more than one switch. Only way around is to consider using a very robust password sticking with it. This is not an issue with hub devices like Lutron as everything is wi-fied to a hub which inturn is hooked to router via Ethernet cable.

Good with Siri, not so with Google
I've been using Apple's Home Control for months now decided to switch to the Google Home platform because of the additional features offered by Google.iDevices + Apple Home Control is great, everything just works as expected. However Apple Home has its own set of limitations hence me moving to a different home automation platform. Based on its integration with Apple Home I would give this product 5 stars.However...While this product does work on both, you should be aware that any time you add new iDevices to your Google environment you'll have to first create them in the iDevices app. In Google Home you need to unlink all your existing devices and then add them all back one at a time along with the new iDevices. This single tedious step is also necessary every time you troubleshoot a single disconnected/not working iDevice.Due to this difficulty, I do not recommend any iDevices for use with Google Home. I have 4 such iDevices switches and am ready to replace them all with something more suited for the Google Platform.Based solely on its integration with Google Home I'd rate this product 1 star.

Overall Great
Overall, I have been impressed with my iDevices switches. I integrated them into HomeKit with no problem, and Siri turns my lights on and off when I ask her to. I did find that the pairing process is more complex than you would think and not very intuitive (you have to write down the pairing number because it is on the part of the plug that isn't visible when you plug it into the wall). It took a few tries to pair one of my switches. I also found that one day the switches stopped responding, which took about half an hour of messing with their reset options and reprogramming my HomeKit automations. Overall I'm impressed, but I want to see a product that "just works."
