Good product... should have held out for aluminum
Plate fit pretty well...needed filed in a couple of corners to fit.I used mine to delete a failed pressure flap on the tailgate of my 2012 Jeep Wrangler JK as I was installing a Morryde tailgate reinforcement hinge and tire carrier bar with the OEM tire carrier.I installed mine with a bead of silicone around the periphery too keep water and dust out.Finish is durable. Metal is thick. And heavy. Do yourself and your suspension a favor and spend the extra money on aluminum. This is a great spot to save weight...but...for a budget panel this is perfect.Note some folks argue getting rid of the pressure flap will make it difficult to close doors in your Jeep...mine is ten years old and leaks through the freedom top...so I figured deleting the pressure flap was no big deal because air would escape elsewhere.This solved my dust issue in the rear of my Jeep...the pressure flap failed and driving down dusty roads covered everything in dust...added this plate and problem solved!

Should have air flow
Added half inch spacers behind mine. Was not quite enough still. Made it essentially swiss cheese where the air vent is for better defrost in canadian winters...Want to do this right and potentionaly have a good product you can sell for more money?Go mock one to a jeep. Make big louvers where the back door vent is. - one on market they're small.

Good for the price, room for improvement.
Utilizes existing hardware. I had to find thin nylon washers so the plate would not completely block the vent for the cabin. It would be nice if it came with the delete plugs as well. Overall it's a pretty solid item. Check with your local laws about removing your 3rd brake light.

ne pas acheter cette piece si vous avez un toit dur la trappe de ventilation dans le hayon sert a évacuer l'air de de l'habitacle et avec cette plaque l'air ne sort pas quand vous serrer a l'intérieur et que vous fermerer la porte sa fais une pression terrible dans les orreiles vous serez alors obligé d'ouvrir une fenêtre
