Excellent Product, So Let's Ream the People Who Need It
Before the Great Gluten Attack of 2011 (my personal medically-dictated Heart of Darkness trip into a gluten-free life), pita bread was a steady part of my life. We used them for a lot of things, but the big three were shish kebab, emergency calzones, and eggplant caponata. I've really missed that, so when I saw these, I decided to give them a try despite the price. They're good -- a little thinner than the real thing, and of course, much smaller and an ellipse, not a circle. But any port in a storm. You don't even have to fit the whole thing in the toaster, just drop it in, and the whole thing heats up and opens up like a fresh clam. I made a batch of caponata, and I'm enjoying something I haven't enjoyed in YEARS.However, at this price, it is something I won't enjoy again for a long time, AGAIN. This isn't a knock on Amazon; first time I used these, it was from another vendor -- prices vary a few dollars when you shop around, sometimes; regardless, it is a disgrace. Cynics can sneer over hipster dufises who come up with all sorts of stuff their health doesn't require, but makes them think they're superior, but the reality is that there are people who really need this stuff, who don't have a choice. And spending $1.50 for each one of these tiny loaves is something that Ebeneezer Scrooge would view as a step too far. Make a living, not a killing, folks.

Yummy gluten free option
It’s a really good gluten free option. It’s not as fluffy as regular pita bread but this is a great alternative however, it does not last very long so you have to eat it quickly or freeze.

Thought these were pita pockets
Well, I was initially excited to find this GF pita bread, but mistakenly thought they were pockets (based on the picture) that I could stuff with falafel or other sandwich fixings. They are sadly not. Bread tasted fine & they were fresh, just not thick enough to slice open as a pita pocket.

Best Pita, out of control price.
As stated by others this is the best pita I have ever found that is GF. Really, put it on the table with hummus, labneh, etc. and friends have no idea it is GF. I got hooked but just could not do the price. I got the same 10 pack at Costco today for $6.79. Great product, tough price.

Really good, just not feasible
I haven't had pita bread in 8+ years, so having these was a really nice treat. I just wish they were affordable enough to purchase on a regular basis.

tasty alternative
These were purchased to make gyros for my brother who has celiac disease. They are half the size of glutton pita bread, but a great alternative. He purchases loafs of BFree bread from the local store.
