2 Player Game Link Connect Cable Cord For Nin/tendo Gameboy Advance GBA SP

The connectors didn't fit into the ports without forcing it in. I didn't want to force the connector into the console because the consoles are becoming more expensive and harder to find. So I used a dremel tool to sand down the metal parts that were causing it to not fit correctly. It still fits snug inside the port, but now it can actually fit. I go to connect a copy of Pokemon Emerald and Pokemon Sapphire and...nothing happens. I tried made sure it wasn't just a bad port on my system by trying it with 3 different systems and trying each combination to see if it would connect any of them and it didn't. Find another product.
