Awesome watch! It came fast, it's cool and reliable! Every ten seconds the indicator that says the day of the week does a neat little animation. The area surrounding the screen is made of black rubberized plastic, while the buttons and area around the buttons is made of semi-matte black plastic. The strap is made of a strong tan strap with a single velcro piece on the end with the humvee logo on the strap, and a large velcro surface on the opposite strap. There is also a small "ring" of a leathery material with an elastic fabric holding it together, which is put over the velcro's meeting-point to keep it together. The watch can also be set to nearby cities and changed when you go to different timezones. These can be set! It also has a Stopwatch, Timer, and Alarm function, as well as a button for chime and the great button of daylight savings time! One press of the STOP/RESET button will make your time one hour later. Overall, very cool watch! Worth the money!

functional watch
Got this watch for my birthday. So far is doing good. This watch is very masculan is has a military style look and feel to it, strap is well made and very thick and it does stays in place. The screen is big and the numbers are clear, I like the infomation on the display full month, day and year also date. The operation of the display is simple and clear it doesn't require a lot of pushing to get to desire function, buttons are responsive and will not activate by themselves unless you make the effort to push them. Some earlier reviews stated that they will bump the buttons against hand or any movement would activate them, so far just haven't had that problem. This watch has the equivalent of a casio G shock style screen protector. This watch is rated to 50M with is more than enough for me for daily use this watch will do the job. I just don't see anyone going 150 feet under water to work unless you job is as a diver for that I would get a diver rated watch. However this watch looks like it will do just fine for regular swimming or rain. However I have not tested that yet. Overall I like the watch will see how long the battery last. Overall I am very happy with puschase.

Awesome watch!!!
Read a lot of good reviews and bad, I have to admit I gave it alot of thought before ordering this watch cuz of those bad reviews. Some people put good & bad reviews depending on there expectations of the product. Like this watch in the bad reviews people put this watch is to big.Yeah I can admit it is big but not that big how people describe it. I do have to mention that I do have a man's wrist not like some guy's with little girl wrist so I like big watches. Some people also put that it's cheaply made, which in my Opinion I think it's quite well made. I've had no problems with it and have had many good compliments on it. So good and bad reviews just depends on expectations of different people. Not all of us are the same and going to agree with each others opinions. I think this watch is AWESOME and recommend it but remember it's just my opinion.

Better than a g shock
Great watch! Very rugged. Very comfortable. I've had mine for almost a year and I have no complaints. I bought my brother one he loves his as well. We both get a lot of compliments on them. I've owned g shock and honestly this one is much more comfortable in my opinion. And the display is not as pinched or crowded like many g shock models. The humvee is much easier to read. This watch is well worth the money.

The best functional watch I own.
From the Invicta watch to the Smith and WessonTritium watch I own, this watch is a clear winner. I often refer to it when I go to a doctor's office and have to file out numerous pages of medical forms, and the day, month and even the year are there for the constant request of this information that is needed throughout the medical package of red tape. It keeps wonderful time right to the second. I compare it to my cell phone and they are always in sync with each other. It is very comfortable to wear.

Big, chunky, and good, with one serious flaw
Pretty much everything you will read in other reviews is accurate, both the good and the bad. This is a LARGE watch. The fact that it sits on the band makes it stick out from the wrist even more, giving it a thicker profile. It is, however, built like a tank. I'm pretty sure you could throw this thing against a wall and it would be fine. The main display is nice, with the day in the upper left corner, the time in the middle, and the date at the bottom of the display. Having the second counter in the upper right corner is a little weird, but I got used to it. The light is activated by tapping the upper left button, and only illuminates the face for about two seconds. I wish this was a five second illumination, but this could have a shorter illumination for field use in actual combat. You scroll through displays (main display, world clock display, lap, alarm, and timer) by pushing the lower left button. Any display can be altered by holding the upper left button, and then alarms can be set, timers set, etc. The watch has 3 alarms. The buttons on the right are used to change settings when you are in "set" mode. For example, if you are setting a timer, the upper button adds hours or minutes and the lower button decreases values. The watch is pretty easy to learn how to operate. When you are not in "set" mode, the upper right button turns chime on and off. Worst case scenario is your sleeve accidentally turns on an annoying chime. I'm guessing if you're a soldier this could actually get you killed if you're on the creepy crawl. The biggest gripe for civilians is the lower right button. This turns daylight savings time on or off with one press. While this is great in theory, having your watch accidentally add or subtract an hour is a pretty big thing. It is ABSOLUTELY IDIOTIC that this is a "one button press" feature. This should be a recessed button that can be pressed with a pen or bullet. So if you buy this watch, make sure you take note of the display for daylights savings time, and look at the entire display when you check the time. Seriously, Humvee, it took me two seconds to figure out this. Why on earth is DLST changed with one button press that is actually VERY EASY to do accidentally? If I can look at your watch and tell you how to fix its' one major flaw in two seconds, then can I have a job? Because someone there isn't thinking. Other than that, this is a rock solid, beefy, tough looking watch that functions well and has a lot of handy features.New information after having this watch for a few months........If you have to stick your hand in a tight spot you either need to take this watch off or use your opposite hand. Also, this thing is tough as hell. The rubber around the protective shell makes this thing really hard to break, and I'd be surprised if I would out the face was NOT Gorilla Glass. So far this thing has taken a beating, been dropped, stepped on, and it has held up remarkably, still looking like new.
