best dryer yet
I have a Rusk professional dryer. Last year I was out of town and had my hair done by a stylist that swore by a Dyson. I got to hold it and see how it works. Well I came home to thinking oh momma is getting me a Dyson. Hmmm not paying that much for a dryer based on the mixed reviews. So I searched and read and so forth for months. I have short hair so it shouldn't take 30 minutes to fully dry. We were traveling a lot this winter so taking my compact Conair dryer with me was drying my hair quick. So when I would think of it I would sit and search for hairdryers and kept coming back to the Dyson. A few weeks ago for some reason this hair dryer showed up under the customers liked or bought section. Sometimes I pay attention to that but sometimes I don't. Well I did and saw customers loved this dryer. So I have one. I have only used twice as it came right before I had ear surgery last week. Can't do hair yet. I love the weight of the dryer and the buttons are easy to use. They don't change settings on you if you change the position of your hand on the arm.The heat is just right. I didn't get frizzies as I forgot to put stuff in my hair before I dried it. That was the impressive part! Great product! Thanks for great customer service and quick shipping!

Lightweight, adds volume, may blow your fuse
I have had the same bulky blow dryer given to me by my MIL for years now. It did it’s job for the most part, but it was nothing special. It was time to replace it, and I wanted something lighter (I injured my shoulder) because my old one was causing major fatigue with how heavy it was and how long it took my hair to dry. This one is significantly lighter, and I never realized what a difference a diffuser makes! I can get the volume I like, without all the products I was having to use before!Be aware, as much as I love this dryer compared to my old one, it is not without it's flaws; the major one being ... If used on the highest setting, it IS hot (almost too hot) and after 3-5 minutes of straight use (on high) it pops the fuse nearly every time. It has a built in surge protector on the plug; and I have it plugged into another surge protector, and one of them always seems to pop with "prolonged" use. It still functions much better than my old one, so it's not a deal breaker for me thankfully. Is it still an

I wanted a light dryer
I love this dryer. It's light weight and doesn't fold up like some others. The diffuser screws onto the end of the dryer but it falls off fairly easily. You can screw all day long and it doesn't get any tighter. Otherwise I really like it.UPDATE: my husband used husband glue (i.e. not hot glue) and glued the diffuser to the dryer. It has a very slim lip for the diffuser to attach and it's not nearly enough to keep it together.I also own the Xtavia dryer with the black orchid diffuser, so I can use that if needed. (But it weighs a ton and makes my arms tired). But I really like this lightweight dryer. Fix the way the diffuser attaches and make the cold shot button a click on instead of using a thumb held button and it's a success. Also, one more thing. The highest hot on this dryer can fry pancakes. Seriously, lower it a little. It's unusable as is.

Poor quality parts, burns out
The dryer works well when it works, however, we have tried 3 different times with each one of them burning out in the main switch. Smoke rolling out with definite electrical burnout smell. We try to give a manufacturer the benefit of the doubt with an occasional defective item but three in a row is more than statistically obvious the manufacturer needs to improve the quality of the parts they are using. The final one we simply returned for a refund and will be shopping for an alternative.

Surprisingly high quality and blows hard
The media could not be loaded. Wife adores it. Here's her words: "It's light so it doesn't feel like I'm swinging a club around and the rubbery texture doesn't let it slip. The volumizer is nice" here's what I noticed about it. The cord is thick. Like nice "don't have to worry about setting anything on fire" thick. There's also several settings. So it goes from cold, to low warm to high warm. The button above the setting switch allows almost instant cool air by holding it down. I know my wife said it's light, and it might be from me using heat guns, but this thing is incredibly light. Also, the rubberized texture prevents slipping. Low and high heat are also very different. High gets pretty hot. I think that's why they put in the cool button. It won't be burning you, but it gets hot. This is a nice dryer. And it blows strong enough to (don't tell my wife) dry your shoes if you step in a puddle in like 7 minutes lol.

Good but Doesn't last
After 2 years of minimal use. I blow dry my hair once a week, less in summer. The electrical component completely fell apart in the middle of blow drying my hair. I had to go back to using my 12 year old con air that still works just fine.Pros- it's hot! Dries my super thick hair with great speed. It's a nice compact size.Cons- doesn't last long. I blow out my hair once a week sometimes less in summer and it lasted 2 yrs.-It's hot! The attachment falls off easily and is hard to get back on when it's hot.- it gets hot and stops working if used too long. Needs to cool down then it will work again.

Hair Dryer
I like this hair dryer for the fact it is lightweight and has a diffuser which makes drying fast along with the regular nozzle. I like that it actually has a cold setting plus a quick button for cold shot. It has a sleek look to it. I was looking at the Black/Rosegold dryer and also one that was Rosegold and chose the Black/Rosegold. I would recommend this hair dryer.

Warning. Can have electrical issues.
I have purchased three of these dryers because I like the design, air settings and power. But they have been very unreliable. My first dryer stopped working after about three months. It had smoke coming out from where the electrical cords connected to the unit. My second one is a travel dryer which hasn’t been used much and it is fine. My third one, purchased to replace Smokey died after about a month . On the moderate heat setting it started putting out cold air and then after a couple of minutes extremely hot air that would burn your scalp. After this happened two more times I threw it away. Clearly there are some quality control issues with these dryers. Too bad. I love the ergonomics of the design.
