Purchased these mugs primarily to help keep coffee and tea warmer longer since I tend to sip drinks over time (causing a need to microwave about half way through). I haven’t had to do that once with these! In fact, they keep liquids steaming for a while and have the perfect balance of form and function. The handles are wide enough to grasp with all four fingers and I can put my hand through and hold the glass inside of the handle if I wanted to. If holding with both hands, the vacuum lining prevents the outer layer from heating up making the outside comfortable to the touch. They are very lightweight, which was unexpected, but they don’t feel fragile. My only dislike is that I only purchased two! The packaging was solid as well and ensures breakage is at a minimum when shipped (we are overseas in Italy and they arrived perfect). Highly recommend this product.

I like the lightness of them. They have decent insulating to keep beverages hot or cold (not as much as insulated stainless steel but I'm avoiding stainless steel due to metals leaching into my drinks). The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the base is too small... it's fairly easy to tip them over. I would suggest to the manufacturer that they discontinue this design and make the next one less tapered at the bottom. I also like the size: 20 ounces works for me.

These are great, the double wall glass helps keep the temp of your coffee, they are a tinsy bit fragile, so be careful when washing to not tap them on anything, I’ve ordered 2X 😊

I purchased a set of these 3 years ago as a birthday gift for my wife. Then one got broken. These had become our "go to" coffee cups. I have been searching for awhile and when I found these I bought 2 sets (4 more). There are other glass mugs out there, but I have found that these are very well made, comfortable and always cool to the couch even when full of tea or coffee. Other manufacturers cups feel fragile or like they might break, these are made from a thicker silica glass that is more robust. They come nicely packed with two in each box. Most glasses, and some mugs, are made in the shape of a vase, with the top wider than the base. There’s a reason for that. The shape is easier to hold with little chance of it slipping out of your hand.This glass (or mug) has an oval shape; wider in the middle and narrower at the top and bottom. I bring this up because not picking up this mug by its handle can result in it easily slipping out of your hand, as it recently did when I tried to grab it from the top.I do like its 16 oz size. There’s only one other 16 oz glass double walled mug on Amazon and I have already bought that one, twice. And broke it twice. That’s why I ended up with this mug.The reason I bought a glass double walled mug in the first place was because the outer glass wall stayed relatively cool. This mug is not so great in that respect. The distance between the inner and outer walls is so negligible that I can easily burn my hand when it contains boiling hot coffee or tea if not held by its handle. So I don’t see what I’ve gained by buying these particular mugs. Also, they are much taller than wide, and have a small base, so are easily toppled over.That previous mug, with the exception of it being so easily breakable, was a better double walled glass mug.Since I just received this pair of mugs, there has not been enough time to discover its break ability.UPDATEThey have both broken.

I purchased 4 of these as companions for my new Nespresso Touch. They fit under the coffee and milk spouts without a problem, but you couldn't go any bigger. They feel great in your hand and really do keep your beverage warmer longer. (Helps to pre-prime both coffee and milk on Nespresso too, but that's a separate review). I have used these cups for several weeks now and have no issues with breakage, chips etc. I will be ordering the smaller sizes for the drinks the Nespresso really wants to make, which seem to max out at 12 oz. Of the four of these I ordered, one arrived in shards, although the box was intact. Since Amazon offers a refund and I really wanted a replacement, I took a chance and emailed Anchor & Mill. Their customer service is outstanding! Even though it was a shipping error and not a manufacturing issue, they sent a replacement glass right away. Very impressive!

I love these cups I did eventually purchase two more because anything will break when you slam it again say granite counter twice,!🥺. But I use them everyday both for cold and hot drinks. I add ice directly into the cups from the ice dispenser. I've knocked them over. I washed them in my dishwasher and I've had no problems with them. They don't leak they don't fog up between the the insert. Definitely would recommend them! I want some just like them without the handle!

Mugs are fantastic, no faults at all, Receiving emails from the company titled "I have been thinking about you" Comes off as a bit weird though. Wife might start asking questions.

I got these after reading reviews and checking things out.Like all double walled glass mugs, they are on the fragile side of things as each layer is quite thin. So be careful with them.They do work, they keep my latte's nice and warm for ages which is good when I'm working as I often neglect hot drinks for too long.The handles are nice and large too making them comfortable to hold, I can get enough fingers for a good grip with no trouble at all.They must be hand washed - not microwave or dishwasher safeAll in all, I highly recommend these glasses.

Good item, but it is extremely large. It is as big as two mugs :)

Really nice mugs! Light; lovely design and large capacity (there are many lovely mugs around but not many are large enough for me; as I prefer the 400-500ml). They are not cheap but clearly good quality. I have been using them for both hot and cold drinks since I got them. I am not sure about the ability to microwave as instructions are confusing ('you can use in a microwave but should not'; this is not clear). It makes no difference to me as I am happy to not use them in the micro or dishwasher. Very pleased with this. Fast delivery; good service.
