Button Books My First of Quantum Physics

Not just for kids... this is a fantastic resource for anyone trying to come to terms with the inevitable confusion caused by not studying these subjects academically (maybe even then?) e.g. is light made up of waves or particles?Very impressed... looking forward to getting others in the series (only reluctantly letting them out of my hands)!

I think the author is understimating the knowledge of other civilisations because of their own limited understanding.There are 2 points made in this paragraph1. About 4 elephants supporting the earth in Hindu mythology.. as if ancient Indians didn't have proper understanding about earth and astronomy. The 4 elephants here it's a metaphor for dharma, artha, kama and moksha .2. As mentioned in the text, when people in Europe thought earth is flat , it was mentioned as "Bookol" meaning elliptical .. it was not mentioned by the author.. it will be highly appreciable if the authors can have an inclusive approach .

Highly recommend this book. My 9 year old son was fascinated by it and us adults learnt a lot too. Great quality book with lots of pictures and fun facts. It explains everything really clearly.

I bought the book for my 6 years old and he absolutely loved it! It is very well written accompanied with illustration suitable for young and grown ups to grasp the subject of quanta. I believe that is an ideal book for introduction to the awesomeness of quantum science.

Brilliant book, everything's explained at the right level, so even if physics isn't your subject it is explained so you can understand it with diagrams. Interesting for all age groups. Definitely recommend.
