Impressed with TCL
I have this TV next to a LG CX 4K which would be considered a close competitor to this tv so will mention some comparisons in this review to help someone who might be considering which one to choose. The TCL 6 Series 8K tv has an impressive picture on it. It has vibrant colors and great contrast for a LED tv. The contrast is very close to my LG CX OLED. With the color saturation, brightness, and the 8K upscaling of the mini LED it will outshine the CX in a lot of scenes. The fine detail in the 8K picture is impressive compared to a 4K, even considering that there is very little native 8K content the upscaling from 720P and up is very noticeable. However the TV does have some faults to it. The colors do get washed out the more of an angle you sit from the TCL. Pretty noticable compared to an OLED. If you sit on an angle from this tv you will lose some of the picture quality. More so the wider angle you get. Not that bad on slight angles. It also took some fine tuning to get the motion control to look smooth. From factory settings it can appear some what choppy compared to the CX, but this was a fixable issue by changing the picture mode to sports and turning on game mode. My personal opinion with the 2 TVs next to each other I would take the TCL 8K Mini LED over my CX 4K OLED. If you have it set up in a place where you will have a wide viewing angle you will want to keep in mind that the biggest flaw on this TV is it will washout and lose picture quality the more of an angle you get from it.

Several malfunctions after a week
I had very high hopes for this tv when I ordered it. The value is phenomenal for what you are getting. The picture looked great and I was impressed with it. The first malfunction was the tv didn't want to connect to the PS5. It would kick me out of that input and back to the home screen. I would have to unplug the tv for about a minute and plug it back in to work. When the tv would go into hibernation, it would freeze and not come out of sleep mode. This seemed to happen a good bit and it was frustrating. Lastly, I turned it on and a thin yellow vertical line appeared on the left side of the screen. I ran through all of the diagnostic procedures and tried everything the manufacture recommended. The line never went away and I processed my return with Amazon. The TV was shipped through XPO. The TV arrived in great shape and the box didn't have any damage. My only complaint with XPO is how long it took to get the TV. My arrival date got cancelled the day of delivery because they said there were no trucks to deliver from there drop point. This was extremely frustrating because you clear a whole day waiting for a TV and they just cancel on you. This was my first time buying a big TV online and I had several reservations before I went through with it. The biggest hassle is repackaging the TV for a return. I'm not sure if I'll go through this process again after this experience.

This 75 inch TV is very big, but got used to it very quickly.
It was worth moving some things around to make room for this TV! Funny how watching content on it made us realize we didn’t want the 65” model.CEC control with TCL is more for switching to a different device and having the tv follow but not for having (i.e. an Apple TV remote) switch the tv off or on when the Apple TV remote is powered off or on.Ethernet port is only 100 mbps. TCL says it only needs 50 mbps to run 8k. Still rather have gigabit.Addictive enough that I’m re-watching a lot of movies just to see them in 4K HDR with Dolby Vision and listen in Dolby Atmos.

Great TV... and then this happened.
It's a fantastic TV. The Amazon delivery team setup and was fantastic. On my four day of use I turned it on and the screen looked like this. (attached) I turned it off and on again and it went away. But not something you want to see on a brand new TV. Every time I turn it on I keep feeling like "is this the last time". Not a comfortable feeling. I'm interested if anyone else has had this happen to theirs. That aside, this TV is fantastic in terms of picture quality. The PS5 looks incredible. Aliens up-scaled felt like watching it for the first time. My only complaint is that it doesn't have built in Bluetooth. You have to download an Roku app through your phone or tablet and it piggybacks your Bluetooth headphones though it. It has glitches and out of sync issues once in a while.

Excellent product.
Picture quality is super. Bright with rich colors. So many pluses. I don't think you could go wrong just try it.

Overpriced, freezes up; UPDATE: completely broke
Previous review below vvvvNew review now. The tv has now stopped working and produces a white image with the shadows of the apps on start. (See attached) The image remains that way. So yeah, this tv is guaranteed to completely give out with the first year of ownership. Manufacturer likely to do nothing about it.The tv is great when it's not constantly freezing up. I don't normally spend a ton of money on a tv but I decided for once I would ball out and buy an expensive one. The tv this one replaced was a fraction of a price but performed substantially better. This tv takes forever to load and often times freezes. TCL doesn't support apps like AMC Go so that's another point against it. The picture is really good but I think the CPU or whatever is insufficient given that it constantly freezes like I said. All in all, wish I would've just been practical and got a cheaper tv that would've still performed better than this overpriced computer tv.

Great performance. Very happy with picture quality.
Great picture quality. I upgraded from a prior TCL 6 series from 2019. This new set is amazing - the old one was great but the depth of colors in this set is impressive.
