**2.5year Update! June 2022:Yes I'm still a full-timer, same travel trailer, same mattress.This last winter was in Iowa, and it stayed below zero for a month.I just had to share that I STILL have NO mold or condensation anywhere near my mattress!Original (Oct.2019):Can I give 10 stars? I'm really glad I didn't drop $600 on a plastic puzzle under my mattress that I will never see. I can't even pull out my rv mattress without removing a cabinet (small camper!) I really needed this because I'm a full timer that started noticing the condensation build. No mold for me! Firstly, of all my amazon orders, there has been many foreign manufactured items that have poor quality, chemical smell, zero customer service, etc. Not the case here. Made in Virginia, USA. I knew that this is quality before I even opened it because VA has very strict manufacturing laws. Secondly, I am happy this came in the way that it did. In order to have a "one piece" queen roll, I would have had to cut it to fit into my recessed queen in my rv. It was super simple and easy to cut in half. I used plain paper scissors, tilted the mattress about a foot up, and slid the 2 halves in their spot. I'm sorry if you're expecting a 5 foot tall roll? Lastly, the customer service is surprising. A hand written note, contact information, very simple instructions (although, who would need them?) and literally any questions you could have were answered. You cannot beat the price, convenience, service, simplicity, and functionality. If you're in a boat or an rv, you really do need to get this (or pay 5x more for a colorful froli plastic puzzle under the mattress?)Update Feb. 2021:*** Update: it has been 1 year and 4 months since I put this under my bed. I have lived full time in my trailer and slept in that same bed every night since then, in TX, KS, OH, IA, WV, VA, OK, MS, and NE. It's been subzero temperatures here in Nebraska. Last week every night got below -10°F. I don't own a dehumidifier, butI still have ZERO condensation under my mattress!! Still a 10 star purchase. Perfect.

This product was outside of our budget, but after finding mold in many places in our RV and all over our mattress and bed platform, I was desperate for answers and this looked like a really good product with good reviews. I ended up charging it so we could protect our new mattress that was on its way. After finding a new moisture barrier at a local building supply thrift store, I wrote the company of the Den Dry Mattress Pad and asked if there was anyway I could return it (it was in transit still) as we found what seemed like a less superior product, but it met our budget needs. I explained our mold situation. They emailed me back saying that they wanted us to have a good product and would refund our money but to KEEP the product that was coming! They told us to consider it an early Christmas gift! With all of our added expenses with the mold clean up through out our RV and us not feeling well due to it, I was so happy I cried. We needed something good to happen to us. This is a small business and they are very thoughtful people. When we received the product it was wrapped well, it looked like a good quality and strong product, the directions were easy and it had a personalized note and product sticker inside, which I found to be a nice touch. We had already put the product on, that was from the thrift store and we were not happy with it because it had a lot of moisture on the foam pad that we were temporarily using. We took off the old moisture barrier and put down the Den Dry when our new mattress arrived. It's been at least a couple of weeks now and although we have condensation on the wall we DO NOT have a wet mattress underneath any more! THIS PRODUCT WORKS! We have been super thrilled with knowing that we won't be growing any additional mold, at least in our mattress and that our investment in our mattress is protected from the DEN Dry product. More importantly was the kind and out of the ball park, great and compassionate customer service! If you want a good quality product from a small business that cares about people, buy this product ! I so appreciated these kind people that took the time to care for a complete stranger and give them a product that really does its job.

Bought this with hopes that it would stop moisture under the mattress in the trailer, however I’d don’t work, it’s just as wet under there as beforeGreat idea but didn’t work

I live full time in an RV. I had to replace my mattress once before because of moisture buildup. I’ve tried almost everything to keep my mattress safe; a mattress cover, plastic sheeting, I even prop my mattress up everyday and run a dehumidifier with the bedroom door shut. But still there was condensation buildup no matter what I tried to do.Installing this product took me less than twenty minutes completely alone. Since it is applied in two pieces (horizontally for a Queen sized mattress) I was able to slide my bed to the foot of the frame, apply half, then shimmy the bad back before putting the bottom half in place. I read other reviews that said there’s shifted around, but after overlapping the two halves and placing the bed back down, I really haven’t noticed it shifting much.The material is easier to cut through than I thought it would be. I had really dull scissors and I was able to do it, and the grid shape of the structure made it easy to cut it to fit exactly for the space I needed without having to remove it again to fit it. I just cut the long strip in half to start out with and then placed the two halves on the bed frame and removed the extra to fit.Less than 12 hours later there is a significant difference already. The mattress is completely dry underneath. I love that this product covers the frame of my bed completely, and that it’s thin. You don’t notice it when you sleep on it. The company also provided a product guarantee for a year if there’s something wrong with it. Which is nice of them. I feel better having this product under my mattress, and I wish I bought it three years ago when I first bought my RV. It would have saved me a lot of headaches and probably a mattress or two.
