Safavieh Lighting Collection Blanche Gourd Teal and White Table Lamp, Set of 2

I ordered these because I needed two matching white lamps. And at $143 for a set of 2, I wasn't going to find a better price, especially for lamps this tall. I am a fan of Safavieh anyway, so even better.The white is a milky opaque white, not a crisp white. The pictures on the site are very, very close to what they look like in person. The base is clear acrylic, the corn is grey, and almost feels insulated on the outside. They come with light bulbs (I think they're 60w CFLs). I had a longer barrel shade I tried out on them, but the shorter shade actually looks better. The shades have a more pronounced hem or edge along them, which give them a tailored feel. I'm not always a fan of an a-shaped shade, but the angle on these is so slight, I an live with it. (The longer barrel shade I tried made the lamps look shorter, actually, and almost frumpy.)They come shipped together, in one box, with the bulbs, harps, and shades. Very well put together, and no real assembly is needed, other than the harp & screwing on the finial. They finial is a pewter/nickle finish. The lamps are tall, robust, and add a nice bit of style to a room, without seeming too fussy or highbrow. They'd be great in a living room or den, but I have them on two black tables in my bedroom (not end tables, just as other lighting). I also like these because, unlike other gourd lamps, not all the girth and 'weight' of the look is at the very bottom. The thicker part is up off the base a bit (you'll see what I mean if you compare other gourd lamps). So that adds to the visual height of the lamp as well.Overall, well worth the money, and keeps me happy as a Safavieh fan.PS please note that the camera angle on the attach picture is a bit below, so that's why the hardware is showing a bit.

These lamps are absolutely beautiful. They are larger than I expected which is great. These are however not just lamps but pieces of art. They look like large beautiful vases. I’m in love with these lamps. The quality is top notch. These were very easy to put together. Just remember in order to tighten the top of the lamp onto the vase you just screw the bottom socket underneath the lamp tightly and that in turn tightens the lamp together. Everything was packed extremely well and I had no problems with shipping and everything was delivered in perfect shape. If you want quality, style and a piece of artwork in your room than these are the lamps for you. I could not be happier with these lamps!!Happy buying!!!

Cute lamp set. 1 shade came damaged (it was packaged well), I called Amazon for a replacement but they suggested for us to return both lamps. I called the manufacturer for a shade replacement and within 4 days it was in my home. Just for that, would order from them again. Very impressed with the customer service.

These are tall lamps and the shape is nice. The price was reasonable, not cheap but there are much more expensive lamps out there. The downer for me is the shades sit a bit crooked. Some might not notice but I do. Check out the pic I took, you can see the window panes are straight and the shades are not. I tried sticking something under the top of the shade to even it out but that bandaid only worked until one of my kids touched the lamp.

Very pretty and very well made lamps! They are heavy which is good for me. I wanted some color in my dark living room and these brightened it up! Nice height too! Nice thing too, was the bulbs came with them! No searching for anything !

This order came very well packaged. They were in great condition and they are exactly what we wanted. They look great!

Been looking for lamps for a long time. The lamps look nice in our living room and the white brings out the color between dark brown leather couches/loveset. The shades came damaged (krinkled) but was able to get two more delivered and they are perfect this time. Would recommend these lamps and the price was great!

I thought these lamps were really lovely color. One arrived broken and I wasn't able to get in contact with the seller for a replacement so they were both returned.
