Great Non-Toxic Nail Polish!
I began using SOPHi Nail Polish about six years ago. After using odorous, toxic, and chemical-filled polishes, I began searching for a non-toxic option that came without the toxins and harsh smell. Through much research, I was able to find SOPHi Nail Polish and have been using it every month since. This company delivers a water-based, cruelty-free, vegan, non-toxic, and virtually odorless nail polish formula. SOPHi provides the customer with the confidence and satisfaction of having a beautiful manicure without harsh chemicals found in other nail polishes. The user can enjoy the process of painting nails due to the lack of noxious odor, and feel the joy of wearing the polishes, knowing that they are not harmful to one's body or environment. This brand of nail polish comes in a wide variety of colors, from light pastels to rich dark colors, and finishes such as glitter and crème. There is a perfect polish for everybody, whether you are looking for a classy, professional shade or a bright, neon glitter formula. The assorted colors and finishes of SOPHi Nail Polish are all low odor while looking just as good as regular, toxic nail polishes. It is amazingly easy to find your favorite nail polish’s non-toxic counterpart within SOPHi’s wide selection of shades and formulas. However, SOPHi Nail Polish is not as durable as regular nail polish without other products to supplement the performance. While the brand does sell a nail polish priming and sealing system, on its own, the colored polish does not last as long as standard, toxic nail polish does. SOPHi Nail Polish chips and cracks after 3-5 days of wear while toxic nail polish deteriorates after 7-10 days of wear. All things considered, I would highly recommend SOPHi Nail Polish. There is nothing like the confidence of freshly painted nails, and SOPHi Nail Polish provides that without any harmful chemicals. This nail polish is the best decision for your body and the planet when considering your manicure.

WORST Nail Polish ever
I had big hopes that this was going to be a great non-toxic polish. It is not. I purchased several colors of SOPHi nail polish and brought to use for a pedicure at my nail shop. The pedicurist had never heard of it but proceeded to use it for my pedicure. She had to stop and start over with another polish they had in the shop because she said the quality was so poor that she couldn't work with it. Very streaky so she tried 3 coats but then decided this was not going to work so removed and started over with one of the shop's polishes. Since I spent the money on several colors I decided to use to do my own nails and found it impossible to remove once it has been on your nails for a while. I actually had to contact the manufacturer for help with how to get this off my nails. I was given some crazy instructions for removal including soaking nails in gel nail polish remover and using an emory board to scrape the nail polish off while the remover was on. The use of all these harsh chemicals cancels out the fact that this nail polish is supposed to be chemical free. Since I had no other option I tried what they had instructed and completely destroyed my nails and I still couldn't get the polish off. Their correspondence also stated that leaving the polish on for more than a week will make it very hard to remove which I thought was a bit odd. I ultimately put all the products together and mailed them to the company only to be told they could not reimburse me. I spent $80 on their products and $9 to ship it to them so was disappointed to hear this. From my experience I would not recommend this product or dealing with this company. Eventually and thankfully after some weeks of cutting my nails down to stubs and having new growth I am free of this horrible product.

Eiffel of Love Is a beautiful grey color
I love this color. I hope they keep making it.Reality is, if you want truly non toxic nail polish, you are going to have to be patient with how long it takes to dry, and use the kit they sell to make it last longer. If you want convenience, then enjoy your toxins.

Basically no smell at all!! Really nice nail polish
When I opened the bottle, I couldn't smell any trace of toxic fumes that I have smelled every other time I opened a bottle of nail polish. I LOVE how it has such a minimal scent, which doesn't even smell toxic at all. I felt like I could have done my nails in the car and my husband (driving) might not even notice. Great smell!! I did notice that my nails chipped more easily than with regular (i.e., not low-tox) nail polish though. It may be because I didn't use a base coat or top coat though; those might make a big difference

Recommended for pregnant women, great scores on Environmental Working Group website
I bought my first SOPHi because I am pregnant and don't want the horrible stuff most nail polish has. It is one of the best-rated polishes on the Environmental Working Group (EWG) Skin Deep Cosmetics Database. Using the polish alone will lead to chipping, as people have noted on here. The 'good' side of this is you can add more layers on top of the chipped polish and the new paint seamlessly covers the old nail polish because the product is water-based--so there's no clumps. The bad news is that most people don't want to be repeatedly painting their nails. In my case, I prefer knowing that I am not putting any reproductive disruptors on my nails so I just repaint. I am currently using the nail polish with the recommended primer and top-coat duo to ensure longevity and durability. I also bought the brand's remover because it is true that it can take time to remove the old polish. I've never used acetone to remove it, though. Before buying the brand's remover, I used Ella+Mila's soy nail polish remover and it works fine. You have to let the remover soak in for a few minutes (just like with Ella+Mila nail polish) and then it comes off. All in all, I do recommend this brand because it's a risk-free polish that requires just a little more work without the worrisome ingredients that the majority of polish has. Lastly, when applied to toenails the polish alone (w/o the primer and top-coat) does great and doesn't chip as frequently.
