After reading the reviews it seemed a bit of a hit or miss...I personally am glad I ordered one.Easy to put together however, the instructions could have been a little better, with a bit of patience and common sense it was easy.I used a battery screw driver DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN, I think this is the cause of a few reviews saying the wood splits, the wood is of good quality.The house itself is made of a fairly thick material, it's solid once put together but again, a bit of patience and common sense when aligning it all.I like to idea of 2 swivel hooks on the roof so you can lift it off to clean and maybe have a peek inside.Great price, delivery and good product gor the cost.I have attached some plastic feet to keep out of the wet ground, I've also insulated under the roof to keep them little warmer.

Really pleased with this hedgehog house and definitely worth the money. The house is well made and finished off nicely. Easy to put together. All you need is a Philips screwdriver. Instructions are a series of diagrams. The roof of the house is removable so it can be cleaned out after use.I'm putting the house in a corner of the garden with some small dried leaves in the sleeping area.

This was easy to put together. It is the right size for a hedgehog. It is sturdy. The quality is really good. Due to the two compartments, it will keep the hedgehog safe from predators. It is fully waterproof, so will keep a hedgehog dry. Overall the functionality is great. Very pleased with my purchase.

Really nice little hedgehog house, my mum was jealous so I had to buy a second one for her!Easy to put together, It's not all perfectly fitting but absolutely exceeds what it needs to. I've only seen one hedgehog in my garden in 3 years so I'll have to wait a while for it to be used, but fingers crossed! The price is really cheap as well to be honest and it looks really sweet in the garden. For the price there is no negatives really :)

I liked this house - it arrived the next day and was well packaged and a good price. It was fairly straight forward to line up and work out the instructions but only had the entry holes on three sides - it took more strength than I had to get the screws into the two end panels (which had no preformed entry places once the screws exited the panel they were put into ) and subsiquently bringing the pieces together was beyond my strength capabilities - taking the skin off my palm.This means that the wood does not come together on the sleeping compartment area so there will be a draft.Could be so easily fixed if there were entry / guide holes lined up on both pieces of wood.Hoping it will still be ok - despite the draft. May attach some tar-pooling to that side.

Lovely home for the hedgehogs. A little disappointed that some of the tacks had come loose so had to fix some of the frame back together first. After putting it all together we also had to superglue one corner of the roof frame as no tack at all and putting a new one in would have split the wood. Overall it looks nice and should give plenty of warmth over winter for the hogs
