does not find studs.
This is an update of the review below.I manage to contact Devlevpro at the following e-mail address. ([email protected])I can now say that even though I was\am not happy with the product the support deserves 5 stars. When I managed to contact them my issue was dealt with quickly was and without fuss. They gave me a refund and told me that I did not have to return the stud finder. They also supplied me with a PDF version of the user manual. If anyone has a problem with the finder then I recommend contacting Detlov at the above mail address. They have also promised to amend the user manual to show the correct contact mail address. They have also passed my problem onto their technical department to investigate and fix any problems they find so that no one else has the same experience I did.Would I buy from this company again? Yes I would because of the 5 star customer support.Even though I did not have a good experience with the stud finder I would recommend buying form this company.ErnieK--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------It must be my time to buy faulty products as this is the second review today that points out poor quality or faulty goods. I usually only post good reviews.Bought this to help me find a stud to put up a wall TV bracket. It is \ was Useless. It kept showing 100% and centred on stud but when I drilled into the wall there was nothing beneath the plaster board. I ended up with a number of holes on the wall due to false readings. I eventually reverted to the old fashioned way. (taking a very small drill bit and doing test holes and I succeeded the second time by doing this. if I had done this from the start I would not have enough holes to make a miniature golf course At times when it showed stud (100% and centred) going from right to left but when going from left to right no stud found in the same location. (So called) finder was calibrated each time. The supplied user manual is useless. It is small in size and difficult (for me) to read.I did notice at times that if held tightly it showed 100% bars when held to walls.I would strongly suggest you buy another make.I tried to contract the supplier by via supplied e-mail address. All mails just bounced back to me due address unknown so there is no way to contact them.ErnieErnie

Not Succesful
I am not sure what is going on with this, and it could just be operator error, but one minute this is finding studs, the next sweep it can't find any, then the next sweep the whole was is registering as a stud. Screwing a new storage heater to the wall has been put on hold as I have no idea where I should be drilling.I can't recommend this, but I notice from the other reviews that many have success, which makes me wonder if it is just operator error.

It works
Need to read and follow the instructions carefully. Then it detected studs and wiring in a normal internal wall.Seems well made and with clear controls

I didn't find it accurate.
MY experience of this device was not great. It struggled to find the stud on a regular basis and sometimes would pick up a stud over a large distance even though there was no horizontal stud behind it.

No better or worse than others with 1 sensor
This won't give much info, just a very rough indication that something is going on in your wall but not accurate stud finding. All this style of sensor are the same, this is a nice shaped and styled example but seems just like the others in how it works. I sent mine back, it really wasn't doing what I needed. Try instead to get one of the better devices with 9 sensors. I had to get mine from the US. A "Studfinder Pro". That works so much better giving clear accurate readings.

Decent Finder
Does what it should, but can be a little quirky. For the money, though, it’s a great value!!!

Far better than the one from Costco!
It looks exactly like the Costco one I bought a couple years back ... However, this one is far better and the deep scan is unbelievably accurate. I used the blue Costco one for finding studs in my insulated garage and it couldn't find ANYTHING! This green one has deep scan option, at first I was genuinely skeptical about all this... But I gave it a shot. This deep scan works like a charm... not to mention price point is better too. Now I hope that felt pieces in the back do not harden up and scratches my wall like the one from Costco.

Doesn’t Actually Work
Item is practically useless— it does not detect studs properly and I now have holes in my walls because the reading was inaccurate.
