Living Proof Curl Elongator

I have more of a spiral curl to my hair which I love. However, it is thick and constantly frizzy, even in the winter. I struggled with finding the right product that would enhance my curl. I use the curly girl method and tried other brands like Deva, Briogeo and so on. No luck getting the curl to take the way I needed it to. Finally I tried the Living Proof curl products and I'll never go back. Worth every penny. I use the curl elongator and gel when wet to get soft spiral curls. I use the curl shampoo and conditioner when it's time to wash and they bounce back up. It's been night and day since I've switched. I'll never use another brand.

The formula states that it is an elongater however it resulted in my sons hair retracting and becoming tighter and shorter than even in its natural state prior to using the product , this is very disappointing and upsetting. I would only use it on very short hair for its moisturizing properties.

This product helps condition my wavy-curly-kinky hair so well! I wish to try the shampoo and conditioner too!!!

Not a fan. This product leaves crazy build up and flakes when it dries.

It works great on curly black hair. Does exactly what product says it does, I am on my 3rd jar. Love the product not the price!
