Amazon Essentials Women's Casual Crew Socks, 6 Pairs

If you like paper thin socks, then these might be for you. I was pretty disappointed too, because I have always liked Amazon Basics products, but maybe Amazon Essentials is not the same quality. I washed a pair for the third time, and when I went to put one sock on this morning it had a big hole in the bottom of the sock. The hole definitely wasn't there when I took the sock off or put it in the wash.....Guess I will have to find some better quality taller socks. Definitely don't recommend these.

I wear socks pretty much every day of my life, so I like to keep reasonably well stocked up on good quality socks, especially the taller kind that I am always running out of, no matter how often I do the laundry. Unfortunately, socks can be pricy, and it can feel a bit wrong to be spending any kind of “real” money on this little bit of material that goes around your feet. BUT... time and time again I am taught that you get what you pay for. Obviously, I am slow to learn this lesson, because I decided once again to buy some bargain socks.These socks have a pleasant cotton feel, and they are thin (but not too thin). They keep my feet pretty dry. Overall, not bad, right? How about getting a hole in your sock after wearing a pair once or twice? In just about every individual sock in this pack? They obviously need to reinforce the toe. But they probably won’t, because that would make the price increase. So I have mended sock after sock and am soon going to have to go for seconds on the same socks. If this sounds like something you don’t want to do, may I recommend the brand HUE, which is sooo much more reliable, and I should have not pinched pennies and gone ahead with my favorite brand.The attached photo is me after taking my boots off. Two completely new holes after a standard work day, plus you can see where I have already fixed a hole.

These socks are very thin and have no rib at all in the cuff. I will not buy them again and they really are not worth the price.

Nice cotton sock, which was very important to me. On the thin side, which I wanted. The problem is the sizing. These are way too snug That's before washing! Disappointed! Thought I had finally found a cotton sock again.

I wear a size 6 womans shoe or a size 4 kids. (yes, it happens) I have a difficult task finding socks that actually fit my feet, no heels crawling up my calves. These are soft, and thin so a good boot fit as well.

the top of the sock is more child sized than adult sized. The foot fits fine but the rest of it, not so much. I gave them to a child and they were fine. But I won't get these again. For a very small adult/child, they would be fine. Otherwise, you might want to skip this one.

Thin type of socks, works great.

I bought these to replace a set of Hanes socks that had lasted a year, but finally my toes were showing through. I wore these new socks for just one day and my toe went through! And the size is correct, not too small. The material is very cheap and flimsy. I would never buy them again.

These are very nice socks. Very smooth, and appear to be well made. I wear size 7 shoes and the socks are roomy on my feet. If they shrink a bit when washed they will still fit well. They are a bit taller than expected, and a bit thicker material, which is fine but not as cool as I was looking for. That's just the chance I took buying them sight unseen. Most of the year they will be excellent. Good value at 6 pairs for $17.

A nice light sock, not baggy, saggy or loose, but don’t leave big red ring marks on the top either, I am pretty fussy on what I like for socks and these where a good buy.

I'm very picky about my socks, but these are the exact length I wanted, and the right amount of elasticity at the top (I can't stand loose socks but tight ones are anathema too) and they're not about to get holes any time soon. Not too thick, not too thin. They're still socks, so of course they'll wear out eventually. Especially because I plan on wearing them a lot.

I have small feet so I buy a woman's size two sizes up. Usually, that means the material doesn't bunch up behind my heel. No such luck. They're too tight and too long. And thin. Three strikes. Not a thing I wanted.
