I tried repeatedly to cancel the order before it arrived, being a bit fickle about designing the room. The tracking number indicated that the label was printed but it hadn't shipped yet, so I expected a cancellation was possible.Seller took more than a couple days to respond to each cancellation request, I contacted them directly as well as called Amazon customer service to reach out to them to initiate a cancellation.The seller only reached out after claiming the item already shipped and was on its way. I also saw a new tracking number, no longer UPS but a USPS number. I believe that the request to cancel was disregarded, a new label was printed and the item shipped out anyway. The seller decided to ship the item and approve a refund request if I decided to send it back.Now that I have it, I'm deciding to keep it. Disagree with their sales tactic to send the item first, but they got their sale. I like the item, it happened to work out this time.Now for the review of the product itself. Looks like genuine cowhide, has a nice subtle leather smell. The hide is a beautiful mixture of white and tan hairs that creates an overall beige oatmeal shade. The backing of the pillow is a chocolate brown microfiber. The insert is cheap and lightweight- I intend to replace it with a weightier down insert. Overall value... 50 bucks for a piece of cowhide this size isn't a bargain, but I'd say it's priced at value, what I would if I were selling it. Perhaps I thought the insert included was the selling point for me, but I'll end up paying more to replace the insert anyway. With a quality insert, it'll feel like a hundred dollar pillow.
