Very small bag.
This is the third Lowepro bag I have ordered in as many weeks, all have been returned. I started at £50, then £120 and finally £209 and I still don't have what I consider a decent bag. The photosport BP 24AW 111 was my final hope but very disappointing. There is so much wasted space in this bag. The hydration bladder compartment is lined with such stiff material that the back bulges out making it very uncomfortable. The straps and buckles seem to fixed in the wrong place and the top compartment is very small, not suitable for a day in the mountains. Ive had a few Lowe mountaineering packs over the years and they have been very good but now they seem to be trading on their name. I could go on but I've had enough of Lowepro, sorry but three strikes and your out.

Expensive. It well designed
Expensive but lots of excellent design features. Comfortable and fits a PCA camera with two lenses

surprisingly poor
Purchased with very high expectations, seeking a highly functional backpack in which I can put an expensive DSLR and backpack with it safely and conveniently. On its arrival I was immediately very disappointed.....many of the "functional parts" such as the removable insert and additional straps are VERY cheaply made...I was immediately very uncomfortable trusting this to house an EOS R5. The pack is comfortable and light but on an early track, whilst attempting the side access, the pack slide down off my shoulder and landed on my foot. Not big deal as the camera and lens were inside the pack inside the insert BUT I was indeed proved correct...the padding is so poor that the lens took sufficient impact for it to break. I have never had this with any camera backpack. The quality, compared to, for example, Shimoda or F stop, is hopeless... Perfectly fine for a camera costing a few hundred pounds perhaps, but for a high end mirrorless or DSLR, absolutely not remotely up to the job

High hopes but very disappointed
I bought the 15L version of this bag elsewhere as it was a bit cheaper but thought I'd put a review on here anyway. This bag looks great and I had high hopes that it would suit my needs. I don't have any telephoto lenses but just using a prime lens and a kit lens proved too much for this bag. It's extremely limited on space and the removable GearUp pouch is so small I've given up using it, instead lining the bottom compartment with padded dividers instead. The straps are not good at all. I'm 6'4" and quite stocky and I could not get the straps to feel comfortable at all. It's almost a child's backpack. The sternum straps are poorly designed and positioned to the point where I just didn't use it. The waist strap has similar issues. It's too small and uncomfortable and it isn't removable.Maybe the 24L bag is better, but the price is ridiculous for both models. They simply are not good value and I'd advise looking elsewhere.

Best hiking bag for photographers
Every time I go hiking I bring my camera, recently got a Canon R5. The bag fits everything I need, first aid kit, water bladder, water bottle for my dogs, snacks, batteries, emergency blanket, OS map, phone charger, torch the list goes on. I thought of getting the bigger version but then you get tempted to carry more, best to only bring what you need. The R5 is a bit snug in the camera holster but it does fit just about. It can be removed and act as a separate camera bag with shoulder strap which is handy. The backpack fits on the shoulders well with decent back support, I’ve done 10 miles with it and it was fine. This backpack is absolutely ideal for the adventurer, a photographer that likes hiking vs. other bags which are hikers that like a bit of photography.

Great Outdoor Camera Hiking Backpack
I did a lot of searching to find a trail pack that would double as a camera bag so I had the ruggedness of something I can take hiking and hold all of my supplies, while also the security of keeping my DSLR safe. The new version of these Lowepro backpacks are awesome. Versatile and well built, it worked great for my first trip to Yellowstone. I'm excited to use it more as I start getting deeper into landscape photography. As a personal preference I went with the 24L vs the 15L. The two packs will fit on your back almost the same, I think the 15L is only 2" smaller in both height and width, it gains most of it's space on how far it sticks off your back. I guess it comes down to your body frame size and how much extra room you want for stuff in the top dry storage space. 10/10 would buy again.

Love this Bag
I am new to both photography and hiking but I have really been enjoying both. I decided to treat myself to this bag since I didn't really have anything suitable for carrying equipment and basic necessities as I move to longer trails and beyond beginner trails.I wanted something small and lightweight since I am a beginner but that could grow with me a little bit as I gain more experience. While you do have the option to take out the camera bag and use that space, without doing that this is a pretty small backpack. That being said the top 'non-camera' section is pretty spacious for the size of the bag. You can fit a compact jacket, some snacks, a small first aid kit, and other necessities pretty easily. It also has a small pouch on the waistband that is great for quick-access items. If you do take out the camera pouch this more than doubles the size of the bag and you can attach it to the waistband. I think if you are regularly doing hikes where you need to do this it is probably time to upgrade to a bigger bag, but for someone like me where this is the exception instead of the rule, it is great to have the flexibility.I also love that I can just use the camera bag as an insert in my other bags as well!It has lots of well-thought-out pockets and accessories for photographers and I am just really happy I decided to splurge on this for myself. One thing I have not tried and do not have a lot of experience with is the hydration pocket so I can't comment too much on that.I have a canon m6 ii and can fit my camera with a lens on it and an extra lens easily. I have a little room left over that I could maybe fit a pancake lens or extra batteries.Overall I highly recommend this bag. I am sure there are more 'serious' hikers where a bag of this size would not be suitable but for me it is perfect.

Buena mochila

Se piace come zaino fotografico, bisogna prendere il modello piú grande.
