One of my favorite things I noticed when I ordered this product was that the most negative reviews were all about receiving pink discs. Am I a little bummed that two of them are basically the same color? Sure. But thankfully I'm comfortable enough in my sexuality to be fine with holding something that is pink. And I'm grateful that they'll all be visible in the grass and new England foliage.These discs feel great on the couple practice shots I've taken, maybe feel a little soft but I like the grip they give me as a beginner.Anyway, shout out to all the fragile dudes in the other reviews who I'm sure make constant comments about how they didn't pick the colors while they play their rounds in an effort to prove how virile and straight they are. You're what keeps our glorious nation on top!

First game playing with these westside discs and I was really enjoying them. But around hole 14 I pick my disc up from the ground to find this much damage from a piece of soft bark on the ground. Not a rock but a small piece of wood. These discs are practically made of butter and not good for beginners or whoever might be playing in more rugged terrain. Find a better plastic.

This is a good set of beginner discs for the price. ~$8 per disc is hard to beat.However, the plastic is quite cheap and depending on how rough the courses you play on are, could get beat up rather quickly. But, as this is a beginner set, a slower arm speed and playing on more beginner friendly courses can extend the life of the set for much longer.In the end, if you stick with disc golf, this set will last you long enough to decide what sort of better quality discs to buy. Or if you don't stick with disc golf, you haven't sunk that much money into the hobby.

Colors varied with only 2 pinkish discs.Will add or subtract stars after I play them.Discs are “soft” and I threw a driver that struck a branch towards the middle - end of flight.The strike has shredded up the edge to where I can never trust the flight again.Not a good beginner purchase (due to the cruddy plastic)Not a good intermediate player disc due to the lack of flight time because of the cruddy plastic.Pros would never use this.I should complain and ask for a refund. I feel that that would be a hassle as I am sure this maker gets a lot of refund request.

I would recommend the Innova 3 disc starter pack if you're especially new to throwing a disc. These are a bit heavier and a tad bit harder to throw accurately for a newbie. I have hit a few trees so far and these have yet to show any major signs of damage or cracks, like some others have shown. I received all different colored discs, unlike others as well (Orange, Blue, Pink, and White). Overall for the price I'm happy, as these will allow me to get a little better than just using the Innova's and maybe it'll help me figure out what type of discs I need to go with in the future.

I bought these discs because I was interested in expanding my collection and I liked the designs. I have been playing for over 12 years and I primarily threw side arm. In the last couple years I’ve been trying to improve my backhand throw because I feel backhand gives you more control over the throw. I tried these backhand when they first arrived. I feel that they tend to be a little on the understable side. This has been great because they are a little more forgiving if you accidentally throw lower than level (anhyzer). The glide is longer than my other discs, so I’ve overthrown the pin a couple times. I’m very happy with these and they are now my go-tos unless I need to throw sidearm for a specific shot.

Just starting to get into disc golf it was a bit of an overwhelming experience with the sheer number of discs I could buy. There was so many aspects such as plastic quality and the characteristics of speed, fade, glide and turn. This set was a really great way of getting a set that included a wide range of the different characteristics.While I initially gravitated toward the higher speed of the King and Queen, I quickly realized that it wasn’t best to start with a distant driver and slowly started figuring out how each disc works.Durability wise, these discs have taken quite a beating! The discs are harder plastic then my other discs so they have not taken getting hit into a tree as well as my higher quality disc. Despite this, I think this is a very good starter set until you get a feel for the type of discs you like and start buying higher quality. Don’t sleep on this set if you are a beginner!

Happy I took the leap. I kept reading people receiving all pink discs and etc. I purchased these for my husband so he can have extras and well pleased to inform we received 1 of each color. I would of also been okay if they were all pink to be honest because the color wouldn't have bothered us due to the good value of 5 of these discs compared to individually purchasing them directly from the website not through Amazon. We haven't played with them yet since this is a Christmas gift so I can't give an exact rate on durability with this brand but the "viking" theme is kind of fun.
