NICE CAMERA AT A VERY FAIR PRICE IT WORKS WITH WINDOWS HELLO YOU MIGHT HAVE TO DO A RESET ON YOUR WINDOWS IF IT DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL IT JUST VERIFY FOR THE DRIVERS WITH WINDOWS UPDATE FIRST . I BOUGHT 3 AND MORE AND THEY ALL WORK FINE EVEN WINDOWS 10 AND WINDOWS 11. THANKS SO MUCH TO THE COMPANY. JOD

If all you want is to sign in to Windows with Hello this will work, barely.I have to get within a foot of this for the facial recognition to work, but it does work fine then.I haven’t been able to find the camera anywhere in devices listed as a webcam, but the audio side comes up just fine.The video quality is atrocious I don’t think it is 720 but there is no way to change the resolution that I have found. Still pictures ARE @ 720.This is not “plug and play” you first have to install the drivers that you download from a link found in the documentation, after plugging it into a USB3 (recommended) port. Then reboot your computer so the camera will be found.I almost returned this as I was so frustrated trying, and not realizing, that it was already installed as good as it was going to get.Still cannot find it in the deviceUPDATE:I don’t know when or why but I can now find it in the devices just fine.Another UPDATE!I found out there was a plastic covering over the face, works much better after removing it.

This particular model of webcam was purchased to add Windows Hello as a sign-in option for my desktop. It is not a high resolution camera, but that is not what I was after. Installation and setup was easy, and it works great as a camera and for video conferencing - Skype, Zoom, Go To Meeting, etc. Video quality was as advertised, and the microphone was acceptable. However, it would not work with Windows Hello. The Manufacturer, Atopnuc, was responsive on this issue, but was unable to get it to work with Windows Hello. They said to replace it through Amazon, which I did, but the issue was the same with the replacement. So I returned it for a full refund.

This was the best deal I could find for an IR webcam that is Windows Hello compatible.It works perfect and keeps my system locked up when I’m not around. But once I pull up to it, it scans my face and eyes ( you have to look directly at the camera ) and my PC unlocks.
