The Yoga Facelift

Don't bother with face creams
I've tried serums and creams and always looked in the mirror optimistically over the following weeks. But I've never noticed any changes. But the morning after my first exercise routine from the Yoga Facelift I saw a difference. I was shocked! Don't bother with botox or face serums. If anyone knew about this obscure book, the skincare industry would be revolutionized. Strengthen and tone the muscles in your face just the way you do your body and you'll see the same lift you do in your tush after yoga and kettleballs. It really makes sense intuitively. It's a short book that is a quick read. It's also organized so that you can prioritize whatever areas are most important to you. I loved it! Now I want a sequel in the form of a video tutorial!

a good book
I bought this after seeing the signs of 50 in the mirror. The book is well done with good illustrations and instructions. I was glad to see several lovely older women in the book instead of perfect 20 somethings. As with all self-help books, it take motivation to do the exercises and see results. Many of the exercise feel good and I felt more relaxed after doing them. Not a reverse button, but maybe a pause for some of the most common signs of aging.

Not really what I expected. Not great. But I might use it.
Didn't have enough photos of how to do the exercises.

Great book for self or as a gift
I've been doing yoga facelift all of my adult life and didn't know it. This book teaches how to do many facial and body exercises. Great book for self or as a gift.

It works if your under 60
I tried the exercises for two weeks seriously then sporadically after that. I think I would have noticed something positive by now, but nothing to get excited about. I’m 67, and I think that once your skin loses a certain amount of elasticity, exercise will be only minimally effective. I have better results with muscle definition and contour from hitting the gym 3-4 days a week for two weeks than I saw with these exercises. Getting rid of lip lines by stretching the wrinkles out over your lips? Seriously? Wasted money.

men can benefit too
I am very impressed with Marie's approach, which addresses the concerns I have with most facial exercise programs. Exercise does work, but it has to be the right kind of exercise, and not the sort that causes the skin to wrinkle even more. Since I've begun doing these exercises I have been very happy with the results and changes I see. I have also noticed a marked improvement in my wife's face. Great book to get you thinking about how, if you don't like the way you look, you can become proactive about it.

Unimpressed
Calgal's reviews says it all. I am glad I'm not the only one. I much prefer the Facercise book. I cannot believe the writer encourages headstand - a potentially dangerous exercise which I have never even tried, and I've been practicing yoga for about 12 years now. Granted, she shows a modification, but still encourages full headstand. Also, the pushing of her creams seems to my somewhat sceptical eye to be the main raison d'etre of the book. And I say this because there aren't many exercises here in the first place. Plus, what there is is poorly explained. Yes, I definitely prefer Facercise

Great Book
I've been looking at lots and lots of books along these lines—some of them are ridiculous, and give instructions for exercises that would clearly produce wrinkles or reinforce weird facial expressions, but this is one of my favorites. It gives sensible exercises and has a nice, straightforward approach. I think it's the perfect thing to pair with "The Natural Facelift: A Facial Touch Program..."—which is the other book I really like along these lines.

An interesting book to read, Exercises would work if you keep at them long enough.

lo he encontrado muy malo, de hecho lo he devuelto.las fotos malisimas, en blanco y negro. no se ve bien lo que hay que hacer. los textos, la estructura, nada claro.
