help! I've had this for about a week or two now. The first time I charged it, it took quite a while to charge up before I inserted my phone into it. But it seemed to work. Last night I plugged it into charge and after 12 hours it still wasn't charged and now it only has one LED light lite (indicating low charge)! What is wrong with this now? It seems like it won't charge up fully and it's now not holding a charge. Can someone get back to me on this?7/13/18:Hello. I am really confused. I was having trouble getting the powerbear Note 4 battery case to charge so Powerbear sent these instructions.HOW TO PROPERLY CALIBRATE YOUR PHONE TO THE BATTERY CASE:1) Power off your device.2) Insert your phone to the battery case.3) Turn on your device and use the original manufacturer charging cable to charge your device to 100%.4) Let the battery drain to 0% until it automatically shuts off your device.5) Repeat steps 3-5 two more times.6) Your device should now be calibrated to its new battery.However when my note 4 drained to 0% and I went back to step 3 - I turned the phone back on and plugged it back into the original manufacturer charging cable, the phone shut off (i think it's because the battery power is at 0%). So in order to get the note 4 to calibrate to the Powerbear battery case DOES THE PHONE NEED TO BE TURNED ON IN STEP 3?when I try and contact PowerBear about this question they just keep sending me the calibrate instructions and don't answer my question!7/16/18: PowerBear's customer service leaves A LOT to be desired. I keep asking about the calibration steps AND THEY REFUSE TO ANSWER MY QUESTIONS! WHY? I may be performing the steps wrong and want to make sure I am doing them right, yet they won't answer me. They have yet to answer me here on Amazon and when I emailed them outside of Amazon all they said today was how to get a refund!!?! Poor customer service!! I performed the calibration steps above and today I tried to charge my note 4 with the PowerBear battery case and a message came up on my Note 4 screen that said "cannot charge battery - battery is overheating". So now after calibrating the PowerBear battery case to my Note 4 I can't use the battery case to charge my phone!! And have yet to receive a response from PowerBear.

The first couple times it worked as described. Then it caused the internal battery to become get very warm. I contacted Power Bear and was told I needed to calibrate the charger's battery. Do not know why, but that seems to be their standard answer. I also own a couple of their batteries that also don't perform as stated. Anyway, I did as they said and the next time the phone got almost too hot to touch. Luckily I got it disconnected in time before it damaged or melted my phone. I returned it for a complete refund. Power Bear also would not replace the replacement battery for the original one that failed before the 24 month warranty was up. Apparently it's only 1 replacement battery per customer. Power Bear talks a good game, but don't follow through on their warranty. I recommend getting something else.

According to the information on the box, I was supposed to get a screen protector and a user guide with the battery case. Those were not in the box. Luckily, the battery is simple, I have been able to play with it and figure out how to transition the case into a discharge state in order to charge the phone's internal battery. I did see some anomalous behavior of the phone while it was charging; however, I was able to stop the behavior. I still don't kow why it behaved like that.I gave the case a 3 star rating because it was missing the 2 items.

Its ok but the spen cap adapter is not long enough for it, i still get a spen detached notification with the case on! It also takes so long to charge? my phone fully charged quickly but the case still had 1 led when i removed my phone and just let the case charge by itself

Have been using it about 15 months. As of now it holds about 40% of charge. And even while charging my phone, it automatically cuts of charging and i have to press the charge button once again.I was expecting a better performance. Before my note phone, i had a Galaxy 2 for which i brought a Samsung battery case, which gave excellent performance. It could hold more than 75% of charge even after 4 years of heavy usage. Compared to that powerbear is a big flop.I would not recommend this brand to my friends.

Was using it before I switched back to an iPhone. Approximately 3 months after buying the case, the battery started to decrease its lifespan and it would only charge up to 20% before giving up. Not only that, while in use the case started to get very, very hot. Almost to the point where it is uncomfortable to carry in the pocket. I head some rumors about the case shortening the phone's battery life span, which I also noticed. So I would not recommend this to anyone

I would recommend using another product if you are looking for powerbank cases for your note 4. My problems with the case is the fact it takes a very long time (4+ hours) on a charger to recharge the case, My biggest problem with this case isn't any of these. When charging the phone with the case it will spaz out and spam my recent apps button (the one to the left of the home button) until I turn the screen off and back on. On average it will do this 4 or 5 times every full case charge. I work in the cell phone industry full time, this isn't a problem with my phone.

Love the case but the aligning of the power button of the case with the phone's button is very bad. I have press very very hard in order to turn on and off my phone and while doing that it increases or decrease my volume mode.

I purchased a 2nd battery product (Samsung Note 4 Battery Case 4500mAh) and it is reliable, excellent quality and it truly does work the way its supposed to! I love the fact that Powerbear gives a 2 year warranty on its batteries and products, even Samsung doesn't offer me that for a brand new battery. What's worse I pay more money just to buy a standard Samsung battery, (so not even a battery extender like PowerBear) and Samsung doesn't stand behind its products with a 2 year warranty? WOW, how terrible is that especially for a company with millions of customers and making a profit in the billions! Thank goodness for PowerBear caring about its customers and making sure they make great products that are very affordable and superior in quality! Thank you PowerBear!

E estado probando el producto bien, pero creo que no merece la pena porque solo se puede usar cuando esta el movil apagado, o sea la pantalla, porque si lo estas utilizando el note 4 y enciendes la carga, empieza a volverse loco el movil, se abre se cierra , se abre la app la que sea, se cierra, hasta que apagas la pantalla, la enciendes tu y vuelve a funcionar bien el movil,solo 1 minuto hasta que empieza a volver a hacerlo, pensaba que era de la rom customizada que tenía con root puesto. entonces decidí poner la original y cual fue mi sorpresa despues de cargarme el root y ponerlo todo otra vez a punto que..... enciendo la batería mientras lo estoy usando y zasca otra vez empieza el móvil a volverse loco, dije noooooooo, e llegado a la conclusion que para que quieres una funda batería si no lo puedes usar mientras carga. por dos días no lo puedo devolver, o no se como devolverla, si alguien me puede ayudar estaria muy agradecido ya que no es una bateria barata. saludos

Le daría un 5 si no fuera porque no puedes usar el S PEN. Tiene unos adaptadores (te viene 3, me imagino que para repuesto), pero hay un problema y es que son muy cortos y el S PEN tiene que estar sin entrar del todo, por lo que te aparece el mensaje en el móvil de que no lo tienes bien metido y no te funcionan los automatismos al meter y sacar el S PEN porque se piensa que está siempre fuera.Por lo demás perfecto, se adapta perfectamente, es funda de goma (no de plástico duro). Eso si, me dura una carga, no 1,5 y al ser de 4500 mAh debería cargarme el móvil casi 2 veces. Pero bueno, aún así, muy buena compra.Como digo, si mejoraran lo del adaptador del S PEN le daría plenazo.

The advertised simultaneous charging did not work. That was a deal breaker for me in my criteria for rating - I will have to charge the phone and the case separately which in my opinion completely destroys the convenience of the product. I recently messaged to get this problem sorted by power bear but overall I'm very unsatisfied. I hope my product was just faulty and that they can provide a corrected version.

Hace su función correctamente, agranda bastante el tamaño del móvil, la carga de móvil se realiza rápida, no así la de la batería que tarda su buena hora y media/2 horas. En cuanto al pen... lleva unos tapones para alargar el original, pero no encaja lo suficiente como para que lo detecte correctamente el s pen, volviendo loco al sensor y haciendo extraños en la pantalla, con esta funda cargador olvídate de usar el pen... El resto encaja bien y buenos acabados.
