I placed my bag in Ryanair's luggage measurement tool) I hope this helps y'all happy travels.
Used this bag last month and flew to Dublin, Brussels and Budapest. I flew using American Airlines to Dublin and the bag fit under the seat! Then I flew using Air Lingus from Dublin to Brussels and the bag fit under that seat too but I got on my flight fast enough to keep my bag in the overhead compartments (mind you there were people there with significantly larger carry-on bags). Finally, I used Ryanair from Brussels to Budapest and the bag also passed Ryanair's strict baggage policy without any trouble (see attached pictures, I placed my bag in Ryanair's luggage measurement tool) I hope this helps y'all happy travels.

Surprisingly capacious, and great for an obstacle course of stairs and cobbled streets.
I took this as my only bag on a ten-day trip that included three flights, two trains, several metro rides, and a few miles worth of walking to and from hotels. This bag did very well. To keep the bag from bulging, I used a set of eBags Ultralight Packing Cubes (worth the price--I tried some other cubes). The set is just the right size with my rain coat folded in between and a hoodie stuffed into the top.I think the cubes helped a lot to keep the bag in its natural shape so the zippers never seemed stressed. The way I packed it, it also stood up on it's own. Here is the list of the gray and blue things I packed (as shown in the pictures) for a spring-weather trip to provide some idea of the capacity: rain coat, hoodie, pair of shoes, 4 t-shirts, 2 collared shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, swim trunks, a variety of socks, underwear, and a small cube (6"x6") with chargers, plug converter, meds, and toiletries. (and the packing cubes of course)In the outer pockets I had a folder with all of my printed stuff, bag with sunscreen and liquids for TSA screening, earbuds, two paperback books, and sunglasses (next to the books).I would definitely recommend this style of travel over a suitcase. No waiting for baggage, no stress with stairs or curbs or puddles or metro "gaps", hands are free to deal with metro cards or passports or whatever, and there are no wheels so you can carry it on your lap when you sit.My one criticism is that the cinch-straps are attached to the outer pocket, which I guess helps pull it flat too, but I'd rather it was just attached to the main enclosure's outer panel.(8 photos of the bag as-packed are attached.)

Fits as personal item!
Wow! I love this bag. It’s fits in the spirit personal bag, so it’s free for those cheap airlines! It looks like a backpack but the size is of a luggage. It’s great, fits a long weekend in. I’m small (5’2) so it looks big when I wear it. I've packed for a 4 day trip and it fits well with extra space. The only thing I wish they had is a water bottle side carrier. Good compartments for smaller items. The back gets kinda heated when you wear it though and other than those 2 it’s a great airport carrier!Update: It also fits in United, American Airlines as well as Spirit under the seat.

2 Weeks in Europe & No Problems With This Bag!
Just returned from a two week trip to Europe and this thing was a life-saver. It was comfortable and the front loading zipper made it so easy and convenient when I needed to get something out quickly. I got so many compliments and questions on where I got it from other travelers. This bag will probably be the only bag I use on trips now because it is so efficient and well designed. I was skeptical but it was so roomy and has plenty of pockets to put things in. It held together great and I would highly recommend it.

Impressed!
Purchased this for an upcoming weeklong trip to San Francisco and while I have not used it yet I did pack it with everything I anticipate to bring with me and I'm surprised it held it all! I typically travel with a wheeled carryon and a crossbody as my personal item but I wanted a backpack so I wouldn't have bulky luggage in the BART. I took a picture of the backpack fully packed next to my usual carry on. I tried to draw over it to highlight the size difference, the backpack is slightly more compact than my luggage and holds the same amount of items. I didn't do anything special with the packing, no packing cubes or compression packs or anything. I only used the inner straps to hold everything in place and tightened them to squish the clothes a bit. My only squabble about those straps is that one of them was put in the wrong way, so it'll have a ripple when it's turned the right way so I can snap it in place. But it's not a deal breaker and it's not worth sending back either when it still works.I packed 2 pairs of jeans, 4 skirts, 2 pairs of leggings, 7 shirts, 1 long-line cardigan, underwear/bras, and a travel bag of liquids/toiletries. The only items I didn't pack would be personal items (like wallet, snacks, etc) and electronics (kindle, chargers, powerbanks, etc) that I typically carry in my purse as the under seat item anyway. Overall pretty happy with this backpack! It will hold a lot more than you think.

Good quality, I'm sure this will last me a few years. I was mostly concerned with the size when I bought it, since I was going on my first 'basic economy' flight on United. Packed 3 days worth of clothes and it fit sort of okay under the seat in front of me (a little bit too long, see attached pic). The straps inside were nice as it kept my clothes from getting thrown everywhere. It was easy enough to get the back straps tucked out of the way before boarding the plane. The attached pic is on United's basic economy seat.

It works great. Air Canada allows as overhead carry on
Purchased 2017 and can now do a full review. I works great. Air Canada allows as overhead carry on. With separate purchase packing cube it fit suit dress shirts three day mix and match wardrobe shoes slipper 13 inch lapptop in front pocket all normal business gear . Held up on multiple trips in Canada all handles and backpack straps work great . Max out the weight and no tears or pulls. Very good return on investment

Good quality, Like the Hide Away Straps, Overall Build Quality Seems to Be Quite Decent For the Price Point
it's as basic as you can get really. I ordered this as this is one of the lower priced items that has the backpack straps you can hide away. Many more expensive brand names of course have this, but in this price range, others don't have the ability to do so.On the inside, I ordered packing cubes to be used with this, it's my OCD kicking in here but it does help to keep the inside organized, clean and minimize the scuffs and potential cuts. It has the lower end lining, not sure about longevity but again, given the price point, you don't get velvet here. It's made to be easy to use and clean and that is fine by me.The outside is...well basic as well. It's got a front compartment that you can put in a small laptop/tablet, passport, pen, keys, etc. All the basic items. I liked this as it's got handles on the front and side, so you can carry it like it states, backpack mode and luggage mode.Color choice for me was grey, again I hope to see this in 5 years look the same as it does when I took it out of the overside shipping box. But given the lower price point it's a 50/50 gamble.Stitching seems of fair -> good quality, it's not waterproof nor is it really even water resistant. I tried a sprayer and it did soak in so if you need protection from the elements, get a cover for it. Again the price reflects this.Overall, I do like it and will update this review in a few months time after I've put it to the test.

This bag exceeded my expectations. Went on a three week trip to the UK, and the bag survived four flights. The bag is big enough to hold all the clothing, shoes and jacket for three weeks but fit perfectly within the dimensions of the small airlines.

Great deal
Just got this bag in to check out. Will be traveling light to Europe this summer and was looking for a bag like this. At first impression it looks to be well made with lots of starage pockets and zippered sections. Material is a little thinner than I expected, but I feel it will hold up fine. At this price, I feel it is a great deal. Time will tell.As for now , I'll be ordering at least 2 more for the other members of the clan.Update:We just got back from a 2 week trip to France and UK. These bags are excellent for light travel. We where able to use as carry on on the way there, but ended over packing on the way back and had to check in. They performed well through the bagage handling systems of 3 airports without a hitch. The only comment is that they tend to get uncomfortable at the shoulder straps when the weigh goes up(15kg+) and wouldn't consider long day treks with them fully loadedThey performed better than expected just the same

Love it!
We bought two for our travels, the only luggage we had since we moved around a lot. It was perfect for WOW air personal item (just don't over stuff it), i love that it opens like a suitcase when you lay it flat. We had it packed pretty heavy for a while and the seams are very well stitched. nothing came undone, I have no complaints. I love these.
