its a ok decoy but very cheaply made attachements
This is ok but for some reason they have cut back on adding a good string so my string broke the very next day, it can only cost them a pound if that per hundred I think to add a reasonable string not the most low quality and cheapest string they could find, buy but be prepared to add you own string,

Not practical
Good garden ornament but useless as a 'scarer', birds ignore it and sometimes use it as a perch.

Doesn't keep birds out off garden
Got this to keep baby seagulls out garden as they where Landon on my netted pond did not work

More like a pigeon
To deter sparrows etc from nesting in the gutters. May have made some difference to their enthusiasm- difficult to say. Certainly deters rooks from feeding in the garden. Looks more like a pigeon than bird of prey.

Doesn’t fly for long
Looks really great when you first put it up and flies well - looks almost real. Only problem is that no matter what you use to attach it the bird ends up on the floor within a few hours. It has snapped the original attachment and every other type of braided loop or string that we have tried to replace it. Such a shame as it does make realistic movements when it is flying. It’s now been put away in the shed until we find something different to try.

Needs better hanging support
Got this yesterday, so far I have had to replace the string three times, It's not even been windy. The provided string lasted 20 mins, have replaced it with garden string twice these lasted a bit longer, now trying twine. When it was in position it did seem to deter the pigeons

Problem with product
String holding scarer to bracket support snapped in under 10 minutes during calm conditions. Do not no how long the string would have lasted in windy conditions. The string was not fit for purpose. Replaced the string with a more substantial string and then all was fine.
